I just ordered as well for a store collection and found the same:

the website says: 'collect in store: Product due for delivery 25 October 2006'

but the email order confirmation states: 'Expected Delivery: 02-Oct-2007'

I thought it could just be that the store currently has them in stock and they will reserve one for me - rather than shipping one to the store from the warehouse - and have just screwed up the delivery year.

Have you heard any more about when you will actually receive yours?

    Regards
    Sunil

I sent them a message thru there messaging system and about the 10% code and the delivery, they totally inorged the delivery question and just answered the 10% code, saying something not allowed as the code is from an external website, i've replyed about the delivery date; waiting on a reply.

  • If you buy the tv in-store, how does it work out with the tv licencing thing? Would I need to bring in my tv licence? Or do I have to fill out some form?

No they just take an address of TV licence holder. Same thing happens when you buy a freeview box/any tv

I live in a shared household and this tv will be used for the shared sitting room. The landlord has the tv licence, do I just give out her name? Or do they just want the address that I live it and the tv licence people will check it out for themselves?

I would imagine they will take your name and postcode. I don't know if they do a check there and then, they just make sure your address is covered. The tv liceence people that is not the store. You are also asked to supply your postcode if you buy a dvd recorder or video these days - anything tv related I guess.
