Does the paperwork/manual with this TV confirm the type of warranty it comes with ??

Is it just for the 1 year ?

    Thanks

on the default setting its very bright and clear, i set mine to medium and its crystal!

Contrast, well it knocks the socks of my Samsung CRT !
not sur eof any numbers for these two mind, if thats what your after.
Anyway im online for a bit and sitting in front of the tv so any questions please ask.
Why are you online and not watching your new tv......lol

Did you get thomson batteries in your remote.Have you pulled the sticker off to find thomson underneath on the remote.....lol
How did you connect the xbox 360..did you use the hi def component.i think its blue/green and red?
  • Xbox360 update...the gammer setting fixed the dark picture on Test drive unlimited game. Did have a dodgy moment just now..noticed that while drivin the picture seems distorted at the sides of the screen and made worse when moving camera around, turns out my screen was on "Cinerama" setting and not 16:9...all sorted.I have not long decorated my living room and wanted an LCD on the wall in the corner, having a samsung 32" CRT whch was massive took up a fair bit of floor space. by the time i get this o the wall, this week I wold have gained about 12 square feet of room....try building an extension that big on your living room for £399.Even my wife likes it , although I do have to find somewhere tp put my Samsung now!
  • yep 360 using red, green, blue...sound currently going through my cinema system, but i have yet to sort out all te wires etc. no i didnt get Thomson batteries ..I got ...hold on..."GP grencell extra heavy duty" apparently!

No im not peling off stickers tho the one on the remote will probably come of easy after a while its kinda a bubbly plastick sticker and not in a recess of any kind , no doubt use and warm hands will make it come off.

Does anyone have theirs hooked up to a mount which is on an arm?

    Something like this:

    http://www.av4home.co.uk/acatalog/AV4-BT7514.html

The TV i get has to be able to fit with one of those so would really like to hear from others.

dogmanstar - Any chance you could confirm what type of warranty it comes with ?? - Does it mention in the instruction booklet ?

Is it just for the 1 year ?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Daniel
  • djblamire,
No Nothing in the manual regarding warranty period, I would think it was 12 months basic as with all electrical goods. but will ring them to find out for sure.

Its all very odd isnt it ,the whole situation...prices up and down, low stocks, various forums contradicting each other.
I saw this tv running a dvd in store, it looked ok but nothing special.
I took a gamble £400 is a lot of money , but not for a 32 HD ready LCD tv(and a sexy black one too, not keen on all the silver ones)d so far im really impressed.

BTW ..I have checked the back of the set.
It has 4 holes spaced 60 cm apart accross and 18 cm apart in height.
The have threaded metal embedded in them ready to receive bolts..have to be for wall mounting right?
