I don't think the code works. If I get a confirmation email, I'll ask them why not.
Where was the code advertised? Was it general or only if it was offered to you personally?0 -
I added a pack of erasers at 49p also and the code worked for that so must just be non electrical items.0

Ok guys back from collecting the TV from Woolworths and I thought I would post my thoughts here, hope it helps you decide one way or another etc.
1. The box isn't as big as I thought it would be, a decent size but fitted quite nicely in my car with the seats down. The other thing as expected, the tv isn't that heavy to carry either, certainly out of the box I can hold it up with one arm (had to as I was setting it on my own!). Basically you can pick this up on your own, you don't need help!
2. The build and overall look is a lot nicer than I remembered to be fair, the black total frame is very very nice and fits the room nicely. The only "downside" is that the Technosonic name is quite big - however I believe this can be removed according to other posts. That said you don't tend to notice it when watching tv.
3. Set up is very very easy - nough said!
4. I ordered the set last Sunday and was keen to pick the set up until I read the comments on here and with a little trepidation I set out to pick it up this am. Once set up was complete I messed around with the settings and tested a few channels and various dvd's.
5. For the price as far as I am concerned you can't go wrong! The quality is a lot better than I thought it would be going on my in store viewing - it's nothing like it. Sky looks fine (Sky+ and regular digibox) and I don't see any ghosting or trailing - the picture certainly seems to handle anything I throw at it so far. I haven't tried any sport yet and will update once I do later today.
6. DVD playback - The set handles both region 1 and region 2 very well, again the picture is very good.
7. The only negative I can think of (and please remember I've only had this on for 20 minutes!) is the picture is darker than my older CRT TV - I am trying to play with the settings to deal with this so any tips pass on !
8. My connections are profigold scart leads. I haven't tested with HDMI yet.
Hope this helps

Just picked one up from the big Woolies at the Forge and they were just about to set one up with an Xbox 360 so hopefully people will be able to see what it can do now before they buy it.0
