  • Looks good on the 360. Watched a HD trailer and it was quality.

Not sure if it is a generic thing for LCD instructions but it says: "Wall or ceiling mounting - when mounting the product on a wall or ceiling, be sure to install the product according to the method recommended by the maufacturer of the wall bracket. This is a safety feature"

Rumours abound on DVD Forums that this is actually a rebadged Thomson TV, no bad thing (apparently underneath the Technosonic label on the remote control) :)

Well according to the manager at the local store he said the tv body is a thomson and the engine built by Acer. Not sure if there's any truth in it but I did find the comment interesting that Acer and T had teamed up - if it's true.

Just flicked over to the football on Sky and the quality is ok. Not as good as a good CRT but it is certainly watchable.
  • Think I'll pop down and try and get one today, If I do ill report back what I think of it.
  • Just got back from White Rose Woolies, they have the Techsonic 32" for £399.99 as a special offer and the Acer for £499 as normal price

the manual for the 3203 Acer says that model is HD ready not HDMI.
Culd anyone advise me whether a Sharp Aquos LC-32D8e at 699 is a better option than the techosonic please?

HDMI is just a connection type.
