Evening all, we had a lovely time tonight, only just made it to the cinema in time but it was well worth it
Pizza hut afterwards was fab too, and they got the bill wrong somehow, so for 2 adults (pizza, dessert and drink each) and 3 kids, 9pizza, salad, drink and ice-cream each) it only came to £27 :j :j Should have been about £35+ I think, so pleased with that
Tomorrow is our last day at school, very pleased about that as am feeling quite knackered nowMy first batch of stuff from Next was delivered today, a couple of tops for me and a couple of pairs of jeans for ds, not sure about them though.

Glad you had a lovely time, what can I say about ex?..........greedy bloody swine! That is me being polite by the way:cool:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Is it DS's birthday today? Well guess it might be soon anyway so Happy Birthday to DS:D, glad you all had a great time x0

Its his birthday on monday Elliemarie, but if we hadn't gone to see it today then daddy would have taken him on saturday, so I made sure I got in first
I know it sounds petty but in the scheme of things right now its nothing compared with what he's done to me

No I don't think its petty at all, anyway if its something DS really wanted to see you should be the one to share it with him IYSWIM.0

Slightly off topic but I had no idea that you could get a reduction in maintenance if you had your children overnight.
I have had my twins every Friday and Saturday night for more than five years now and now and again, another odd night in the week plus I've taken them on six or seven Sun holidays in that time.
I've got no intention in applying for a decrease in maintenance anyway as it's quite a low assessment anyway but their mum accepts it as I pay for their football, their golf, and everything else they do with me plus 50% of the cost of school trips, school uniform, new shoes etc.0 -
Yep, if you have them for 52+ nights a year then you can get 1/7th off the total. My ex earns a good salary currently and he pays the minimum they say and not a penny more for anything, trips, uniform, birthday parties, nothing
Oh, and to top it all off, last night when I was going to bed I saw I had yet another message from the csa asking me to call them; here we go again, god knows what they want this time
Anyway, today is my last day at work for 6 weeks, its tipping it down with rain and we're supposed to be having a big bbqMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Good luck with CSA - at least you have a few weeks ahead of you to unwind xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Gah to the ex!!! Feel really frustrated for you.

So the holidays are finally here :j :j :j 6 weeks of no alarm clocks, well apart from tomorrow as ds doesn't break up til then
I phoned the csa back this morning, basically they were just telling me the latest updated payment schedule; nothing for July, £240 in August and then £295 from then onwards. I have been getting £340 for the last couple of years as ex said he didn't want the reduction for having ds every other weekend and he thought it was still not a huge amount to contribute towards ds, but obviously he's now changed his mind and is going to only pay the minimum he can get away with. They also said that they haven't been able to get hold of him to confirm everything yet so they think my first payment will be in August but can't be sure yet  So for now I'm going to do my budget based on what they have said I should receive and if necessary we can readjust it as we go :cool:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
