Hoooray for summer hols:beer: (Althoug in theory mine started in May:o) - but it'll be fab to have the girls off with me after tomorrow.

Urghhhhh to exes and money - mine owes me a small fortune for his share of the girls school trips away, plus new uniform as dd2 going to secondary and the school have a new uniform so dd1 needs it all bought too - over £150 on that I've spentso far.

He only gives me £200 a month, for 2 girls and I can barely get the extra he owes - I have been thinking about the csa as I'm sure he should give more - he works, does get commission in his work, but still has a basic wage..hmmmm.

Just so frustrating isn't it?! I feel like a right nag always on at him, but he'll never give it to me voluntarily!!!

Ok, rant over...sorry for the hijack;)

I'm glad I've gone through the csa even though the amount has decreased and I haven't had any money since the beginning of June, at least I don't have to deal with him and his silly lies and excuses

And the mad summer clean has begun :j :j One hour of mad rushing about means the washing machine is on, the dishwasher is on and most rooms are now housing their correct belongings again and looking relatively tidy at the moment. There are still quite a few toys out, but once ds is asleep I can crack on with those as he's at school tomorrow and then going to his dads tomorrow night.

My plan for the next few days is as follows:

    Friday:
    • shopping for ds birthday present
    • shop for niece birthday present
    • deliver nieces present
    • catch up with ds's friend who's leaving tomorrow before they go
    • food shopping
    Saturday:
    • Gutting and cleaning indoors
    • Load the car for a car boot (weather permitting)
    Sunday:
    • Do car boot
    • Make ds birthday cake
    • Wrap ds presents
    • Decorate with balloons / banners etc
All of these days will also include my davina dvd and points counting again :o

Dropped ds at school this morning and then went shopping; I got his ipod in Argos as they're doing a free docking station with them ... except they don't have any docking stations in stock and theres none in any stored locally or in their warehouse and they don't know if they'll be getting anymore ... so after a polite but firm chat they let me have a different one for the same value (£20), so I managed to find one in their sale reduced from £50 to £25 and they let me have that instead :D

I also got ds some pj's in m&s sale (£4) a jumper (£3) and a policemans outfit (£3), and then went to asda and spent £15 on food and a pair of shoes for ds to wear in the sea this summer.

Now home and I have an hour and a half before I have to collect ds. I have found something suitable for my niece in my present cupboard so don't need to go and buy anything there, but still need to deliver it.

    Happy holidays:beer:
Nice to have you posting during the day;)
Great deal with the docking station - seems fair enough, if they cant supply the freebie, something equivalent is good - even better with it half price:T
My 2 finish school today too - dd2's last day at primary...it's only daft mother who's sad about it though!!

Thankyou Milly, I always forget how quiet it is around here during the day :) Just having some lunch before I go and get ds, I've got his stuff ready to take to his dads later. When we get home he can chill out for a bit while I crack on with some jobs.

So, ds is home and the summer holidays have officially begun in our house :j

    So far I have come up with two targets I want to achieve;
    • get down to 10 stone: scales this morning were saying 10 stone 8 lbs
    • enter 1000 comps
There will also be some kind of financial aim but I need to do some more budgeting before I can decide on that one. I will update as soon as I've done that.

Ds has set himdelf a target too, he wants to practice his writing every day :D Really not too sure how long that will last for, but its a nice idea ;)

Ds has gone to his dads now, I hate it now more than ever :(:( Okay, time to crack on to take my mind off it ... I have deep cleaned ds bedroom this afternoon and filled another box withs stuff for the car boot. 2 loads of washing done today too.

Tonight I want to deliver nieces present and then really crack on with another room, either deep-clean the kitchen or the hall and bathroom. Tomorrow will be the lounge (which isn't too bad) and my bedroom.

Back from delivering the present, am going to tackle the lounge after all; the hall has various piles (garage, car boot etc), so no point doing that one yet, the kitchen is too big a job to do tonight I think as I am quite tired. The lounge isn't too bad to start with but will is the biggest room so will make me feel happier once its done :D

So I changed my mind again :D Instead of doing the lounge I have done various other bits and pieces; matched all the dvds with their cases, sorted out my chest of drawers, cleared up all ds toys from the lounge and filled a third bin liner with junk

Getting tired now so may just mooch on here for a while before an early night :)
