Oooh the cream teas at the castle are scrummy aren't they?? When we went on Mother's day they were doing them with fresh strawberries as well.... heaven
I can't wait to see Toy Story, will take DD one day in the 1st week as I'm off that week.
When do you want to go camping? There's a site near Moors Valley for £8 per night? The one at Ashurst near me is very expensive!!!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I am aware that I still haven't done any kind of budget or anything, but I am finally getting a bit more motivated to get myself back on track. We break up on thursday and this week is going to be quite chaotic; the car is in for its mot tomorrow and after school tomorrow I'm going out for pizza and bowling with friends from school. Tuesday is ds swimming lesson after school, wednesday we are going to see toy story 3 and pizza after school, thursday is my last day of term so will probably involve some drinking in a pub afterwards
So I'm not likely to get much extra achieved during the week this week which means I need to get organised today
Quick list time me thinks;
- ds to write 2 x teachers thankyou cards and 2 x t.a. thankyou cards
- wrap teachers/ta presents
- hmm, get aforementioned presents
- get ds to write card for best friend who is leaving on friday
- organise little sweetie bags for cinema on wednesday
- thankyou card for breakfast club / afterschool club
- check ds lunch money is paid up to date
Today we also need to go to his friends house and deliver a birthday present and also take the car over to the garage and drop the keys through the box. I don't need to do a big food shop this week as I am out tomorrow night and ds will have tea at mums, wednesday we're out for pizza and friday he'll be off to his dads, so only 3 dinners to sort out and some lunches, so can make do with tesco express this weekMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Forgot to finish the post
Anyway, I break up on thursday and ds breaks up on friday at 2 but will then be going to his dads at 6. My plan is to spend friday sorting out his birthday, and then the rest of the weekend gutting the flat to within an inch of its life and sorting finances.

Ironings done and put away :T Ds is just having some marmite on toast then we're going to sit down together and get his cards written. We're taking the car to the garage at 2 and mum is following us to being us back, then we'll dgo out on our bikes later and deliver the present to his friend.
I'm planning on being very ruthless with my clear out next weekend, part of my problem recently with staying tidy is that we have too much stuff again, especially clothes, so wardrobes, drawers and shoe cupboard are in for a major overhaulWeather permitting I may squeeze in a car boot sale too
