Woohoo, my order is done, there was only one item out of stock that I wanted, £131 in total but am sure some will go back (never looks quite the same as in the pictures), but am pleased with that, at least can pay for it in installments :)

    Thanks Elidee :)

I phoned back the csa cos I wasn't happy with it all and they've explained it a bit clearer, although I'm still less than happy :o Basically they sent me the letter a couple of weeks ago saying he was supposed to pay on 12th, then they have decided to check he's paying the right amount (hasn't been calculated for 2 years) and he is paying a while £3 too much  So becuase they've changed the details of the case the computer automatically makes the next payment into the next month  So therefore I get paid in August, which apparently is Julys money in arrears and a bit of money from June?? It would have been nice if someone could have bothered to tell me that the payments had changed, the csa are possibly worse than tax credits if thats even possible

So, onwards and upwards yet again ... just off to try and get ds ready for bed and then I will sit down once again and try and tackle the budgets :o

Oh I am so glad that I don't have to go through the CSA.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Okay so assuming my ex is going to pay this months money in August then it will be £102 instead of the £156 I was expecting. So thats another £54 off of this months non-existant budget which means I basically have about £20 left for the next 2 weeks, which includes ds birthday :o:o
Okay, will definitely go through all this properly in the morning once and for all :)

Morning all, the sun is shining here and looking lovely :) We're doing housework etc today and then going out with friends this afternoon and obviously spending as little money as possible in the process :o

  • Benben sorry numpty ex is causing you stress over money, could you appeal to his mum and dad to get him to see sense? They surely must 'get it' that you need money to help bring up your son! and they might be able to talk sense into him?
