So, back to the matter in hand, which of course is staying on track financially and moving ahead with my longer term goals. My aims for this year were to reduce my mortgage by £10k and to move house. Well, as I said before there has been a rather major detour on the route and those plans are now very much up in the air. I still can't say toomuch about whats happened, but basically it involves my ex, money and the police  The knock on effects of this financially for me mean that (a) my maintenance is potentially about to stop or at least be severely reduced and (b) the moving house idea has been shelved due to a lack of interest from buyers but mainly the effect this would all have on any mortgage application as my total income will be going down
However, onwards and upwarsd and all that ... I am in the process of sorting out my budget, which I am doing by assuming my maintenance is stopping and then anything that does come my way from there will be a bonus. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to post my new budget and maybe then I will have thought some more about my adjusted plans for the rest of this yearMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

No numpty ex could bring you down for long Benben, I have read your diaries and your attitude to money, life and ESPECIALLY your son will mean that you will always get back on track and that success will always be the sweetest revenge you can give that numpty ex...

Thankyou all, I do want to get back on track, I utterly hate the way that a person I have absolutely no respect for whatsoever can still cause so much disruption to my life and so much stress and worry
There is one major part of the mess that I'm waiting to be sorted and once thats cleared up then hopefully I can plough on and make some headway with whatever the new situation will be. Once that bits sorted too then I know I'll get my mojo back and be a happier benben again
