Morning all, well I went to sleep and was dreaming nicely until my phone rang at 2.05am and it was my sailor man
Now I haven't spoken to him before either so this was a bit random, anyway, he'd had a few drinks lol and thought he was ringing his g/f (same name as me). Anyway, once he realised his mistake he didnt seem to mind and we carried on chatting until 3.30 this morning when he fell asleep on me
:rotfl:
He seems a really nice guy, and has texted me already this morning to apologise
I did ask about the g/f situation, and basically they are together in a vague sense and he's not sure if its going anywhere, was very honest, so we'll see from here ...

Hmm, well another very strange day ...
Lots of lovely texts from sailorman which have brightened my day, watched Bournemouth on sky and tbh they owe some huge favours to the ref, they should have had a player sent off (twice ) yet he wasn't even booked, and they were given a penalty when players from both sides handled the ball outside the penalty area in the 90th minute

After that we had a call from the home to say dad was very upset, so ds and I went over again and stayed with him for about 3 hours. He seemed better after a bit but is dreadfully upset at the idea of being there and wants to come home and is very very confused
Yet another tough time, but hey, theres been worse to deal with
So now its Strictly time, with a box of matchmakers from the christmas box, but I needed them

Is the home he is in expert in dementia. My FIL was put into a home, straight from hospital, into a nursing home that we believed could care for his needs. Unfortunately they were unable to and we had to move him to a secure dementia home. They are fabulous with all the residents - I couldn't do their job and I take my hat off to all the carers/nurses there!0

Yep, its a Colten care home and specialises in dementia, and even they said he's worse than most of the others in there
