Thankyou Dangers, the plan has changed slightly and he's now going in tomorrow. I phoned mum earlier and she was very down, feels incredibly guilty that he's going

He doesn't seem to mind either way tbh, but he's always been the sort to not make a fuss and just go with the flow, but thats making her feel worse
I've invited her round for dinner tomorrow night but she's not sure yet whether she wants to or not. Ds and I will go and vidit him either friday after school or at the weekend (there happens to be a great station within a mile so ds will be very happy)

Hope it goes ok for tomorrow then. Big hugs, Lucy
PS, meant to say that be aware of the other residents. Dependent upon the type of home he is going into, you may get some interesting characters (can be quite interesting when taking youngsters with you, although my two boys don't seem to really take much notice of the others)0 -
Thankyou Lucy, am a bit worried about how he'll get on with it, he's significantly younger than most of the others in there, he's still only 68 which is no age really in terms of care homes

Afternoon everyone, we had a rather easy day today (inset day), the sun is shining and its looking like its gonna be a nice weekend. The hairdressers called me to say I have been sent a brand new set of GHD's as mine were fully broken
so I need to go and pick them up, then I can have controllable hair once again :j :j
Tonight ds is going to do a picture for Grandpa and we're going to visit him tomorrow after the library group that ds goes to. Other than that our only plans so far this weekend are to watch Bournemouth against Brighton live on Sky tomorrow lunchtime
