Hah, am back home, we went to church and it wasn't the family service so ds and I were the only ones in there under 70  He was absolutely perfectly behaved though, I couldn't have been prouder :j :j The service was an hour and he only knew one of the carols so I think he was a bit bored, and at the end it was communion and he was excited to get wine/bread but he just got a blessing instead :o Bless him his face was a picture and I thought he was gonna cry :D:D

After that we met grandad in the pub for a quick festive drink then walked him home. Ds was getting quite frantic that Father Xmas may visit and we weren't at home ;):D He was in bed within about 3 minutes of walking through the door, we read The Night Before Christmas and I haven't heard a peep from since :T

Time now for a large glass of Baileys and an evening of chilling on here, Happy Christmas all of you, whether you post, lurk or whatever, thankyou for helping me through this year, may Santa visit you all :)

Bless him; we haven't been to church this year as youngest ds did presents and a church service with school the week before last. My two boys are still up - I still have to wrap their pressies and to sort their stockings out. A late night for me I feel.

It's very strange as we had 'the conversation' with the eldest a few weeks ago and his suggestions for what we put out for FC was quite interesting.

At the start of the holidays I asked ds if there was anything in particular he wanted to do this holiday and the only thing he said was going to church on Chrsitmas Eve  I was quite surprised as I'm not religious, but he has been really looking forward to it :)

benben most of the churches around here do a family christingle service on Christmas Eve at around the time of the service you went to so I am surprised it wasn't like that for you.

Merry Christmas to you and your gorgeous boy benben and all the best for 2011 - you will continue to amaze and astound us- of that I have NO doubt ! xx

We have two churches within walking distance, the one we normally go to only has November services on its website and nothing outside saying what times they were today, so we chose the one opposite where we live. They had a bit Christingle service last weekend apparently ;):)

Evening all, we've had a great day today, finally got home about 20 minutes ago, ds is absolutely shattered and will probably be grumpy all day tomorrow at his dads :)

Tomorrow I'm going round to mums for lunch and to bring home the rest of our stuff, then round to my sisters for tea. My brother and family are coming up too tomorrow so that will be nice. Hope you all had a lovely relaxing happy day :D
