Aaaaaagggghhh!!!!!!!

So I called them and they said they had got hold of him and he admitted he was working ... he has told them he'll send in his wage slips on 22nd January!! and then they'll do an assessment and tell him how much he has to pay  Which means the assessment will then be sent to us both, and will mean I should get a payment in February or March, well whoop-de-doo, (IF he's still working then)  How long do they think single mothers can afford to provide singlehandedly for their children??? The system is a joke

Grrr, have had a bath to calm me down a bit, ds is at mums at the moment, shes having him for a couple of hours so I could get the wrapping done, which is now complete and mainly hidden away again ready for Santa to come tomorrow night ;):D

I'm determined to try harder next year at not letting it all get to me; I've already done the budget assuming I won't be getting a penny from him, so theres no point getting worked up about the ridiculous system thats letting him get away without coughing up a penny towards his child. I let them know about his job on December 13th, and he gets 6 weeks to provide payslips, then who knows how long from there til he is expected to make a payment. When they did the assessment in June, the first payment was due 6 weeks after the assessment, so in effect it could be 3 months from letting them know he's working til he has to make a payment  What a joke :(

BUT ... Christmas is all paid for, and there must be thousands of people around the country who would like to be able to go to bed tomorrow night knowing everything is already paid for without the thought of credit card billa arriving in January ;) So, heres to a fab Christmas, without his money, and to a fab new Year :j :j

Mmmmm, just tried one of the sausage rolls and they are absolutely scrummy :j I added some garlic, onion and chestnuts to the sausage meat and they really are yummy ;)

Mince pies are now in the oven, once they're out I'm jumping in the bath, followed by ds, and then its church at 6.30 :) Finally I'm starting to feel festive :D
