The flat is slowly starting to look presentable again; the washing machine is on for the fourth time, there is washing drying all over the place; the dishwasher has been emptied again, the beds have been changed, two piles of paperwork have been dealt with, 4 games of deal or no deal have been played with ds in between all this  :o, and its now getting to the point where I can begin to clean properly and make it look half decent again :D

We've both decided not to bother getting dressed today, its a pj sunday, we don't need to go out today and I don't expect anyone will turn up in this weather, so its a lazy cosy day with baths all round a bit later :)

Just spent 2 hours going through the Next sale listings and altogether I want to order £220 of stuff  However, some of it will be out of stock and even if it was all available I won't keep all of it, some things will be ordered in 2 sizes and the wrong one will be returned, so hopefully the total should be approx £100 - £150 max :o;)

The weather forecast for tomorrow is looking like more snow here so I think it may be a local day, a trip to return library books, go to the bank, out in the snow and then some baking and pressie wrapping :)

Morning all, another morning of snow :) We're forecast snow on and off all day today, so won't be going far again I think. Ds wants to do some baking today, I have an ironing mountain after all of yesterdays washing, although a lot of it was hung up to dry so I may get away with some of it ;)

Today I also want to look some more at 2011's plans :)

not sure i would want to have ds going such a long journey if the weather was bad. i was about to say surely OH would be reasonable, and then realised just who we were talking about!

Hmm, can't see him being remotely reasonable about it, this is the only time he's seeing ds over the holidays, and he will have other things to worry about next week ;);) If the weather doesn't improve I think I will tell him that he can still make the journey down here to see ds if he wants to, but ds isn't going to his. He can spend the day down here with him, but I don't want ds travelling as its not a necessary journey. He will go ballastic as his mother will want to see ds too  BUT, it won't be negotiable. Bad weather never bothers him, he always drives in it, had a really bad accident a few years ago when he skidded on ice, luckily just him in the car at the time, whereas I'm very cautious and don't do risks. As the only person in this world with parental responsibility for ds then I think I have the right to make the decision :D:D

Can he not bring his mother down with him. After all, she is an adult. Would she be a bit sensible about ds travelling in this weather?
