No chance, he would need to bring his mother, father, sister, sisters b/f, brother, his girlfriend and the 2 dogs  :rotfl: They wouldn't be reasonable, they'd see it as "their right" to have ds at their house. They don't seem to consider ds or his wishes in any of it, its all about what they want
Right now its rain/sleet, so maybe it will all clear by the weekend anyway, but I will not compromise ds safety just for them to pretend to play happy families at xmas Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000 Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

We've just had to venture out to 'rescue' DHs car from down in the village (we live up on top of a hill and all three roads up were impassable earlier). I do not want to venture out again in this weather.0

We played dond then an aunt popped in unexpectedly, luckily the place was tidy enough for visitors so I didn't feel too bad She delivered some cards and parcels so there are a few under the tree now She delivered some cards and parcels so there are a few under the tree now

Woohoo, had an email today from the betting exchange to say I hadn't used my account for 12 months. I called them up as I thought it might be phishing as I use it weekly, but apparently I had two accounts (wasn't aware ), and so they will close the second one for me and send me the £25 thats sat in it :j Lovely surprise ), and so they will close the second one for me and send me the £25 thats sat in it :j Lovely surprise Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000 Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Just been going back through my diary a few pages and I realised I had only put £20 into the pot to pay for the plumber when he fixed the hot water last month. The bill came in this week and its £41, so £21 of the unexpected Betfair money will cover the rest of that, leaving £4 to go into the 'other' pot for the rest of this month.
I also spoke to the ex-from-hell earlier, and he said he had expected me to say about the weather, and we can see how it goes during the week and will discuss it again on xmas eve, but he also said that he understood about me not wanting ds to have to travel if the weather is bad   Either he's finally growing up a bit or he's trying to keep me on side right now  Whatever the reason, I'm just glad that it wasn't a row, and hopefully the weather will clear up a bit anyway and avoid the situation arising anyway. Back from our friends house, even though they're only about 4 miles away they've had loads more snow than us and driving there was a bit yucky It was lovely to see them though and we had a good catch-up It was lovely to see them though and we had a good catch-up
We've also been to tescos today and spent £25 on petrol, £11 on a last minute present for the friend that hadn't been budgeted for and I also spent £8 in WHSmiths on a book for my bil that was within the budget, and £2 on cake for me and ds, oops! and I also spent £8 in WHSmiths on a book for my bil that was within the budget, and £2 on cake for me and ds, oops!
Back in the warm now, ds feels yucky again and is watching a dvd under his blanket on the sofa. He didn't touch any lunch, only had one bite from the cake he wanted earlier, and is very lethargic. Am hoping its still just an end-of-term lethargy :cool:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

An update with todays spends ...
 Food: £183 / £200
 Petrol: £40 / £60
 Other: £148 / £228
So with 10 days of the year left to go I have £17 left for food, but still have a fridge / cupboards that are full; £20 for petrol but shouldn't need to buy anymore and £80 for 'other' stuff, so a total of £117 for 10 days, and a Next sale to factor into that too Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000 Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
