Wow, that's quick :) Some of my orders have been posted, hope the neighbours won't mind taking parcels in for me whilst we're away from home for a few more days...!!

OH my god, just realised my page hadn't been refreshed. What an utter w****r your ex is, I'm seething on your behalf, not that it's any consolation at all, but it sounds like the sort of thing my ex would do if he ever bothered to ask for DD overnight these days. I wish the courts would take events like that seriously, it's completely immoral of your ex and his GF to treat DS like that :( Poor little chap, my heart breaks for him :(:(:(

Sadly I think that Benben might come across rough waters if limiting access is a route she goes down.

The law is there to protect absent fathers and the good ones and the bad ones are equally protected which is really frustrating for the PWC. Benben knows that I would be on her side morally if she close to try to limit access but unless the courts have had a huge change of heart, they generally try to ensure the absent parent is fairly treated, no matter how much of a ****** he is.

A lot of it though seems to be lip service as the courts say they are acting in the best interests of the child but when you look at the nitty gritty (as in this case), it looks to everyone that the less time this little fella spends with his dad, the better. As I said, they try to treat everyone equally which is good news fro some and a bloody hindrance for others.

Morning all :) Yep, I agree with Mart, there is very little I can do, I am going to try phoning him again today now that I'm calmer about it all and explain how its ds he's hurting, and that after everything this year I've still been fair and not blocked access etc, and would expect just a little shred of decency in return ... I know it won't get me anywhere but it needs saying

So today ... the plan today is to gut ds bedroom from top to bottom  Every cupboard, drawer, shelf will be emptied / cleaned / chucked in a bin liner or returned to its rightful place :D

I also need to call the RAC later and try to sort out getting my car fixed :o Oh and the guinea pigs need cleaning out too. Sounds like a fun day doesn't it!! ;)

  • Could you back the call up now with a text Benben just to say how fair you have been given what he has put you both through this year and the fact he is not helping you financially for DS and that DS is missing out with the change is finanial circumstances and that in future you expect the same fairness and decency and if DS asks to call mum he is allowed and that if dad has to work nights then DS is not allowed to stay with anyone else as the whole point of access is for him to be with dad, so in future he will come home early if dad can't be there the whole time. If this is not adhered to then further acction will have to be taken.

    Grr
  • Is he also saying the DS is lying about him working all night?
