How does this work BenBen?- and if you don't mind me asking which bank is it with?0 -
Afternoon Benben, well done on the £9 rooms you managed to book yesterday!! Il have to get myself over to the grabbit thread, infact I rarely take myself out of the diaries thread!
Wow 5 accounts!!! Did you manage to locate the missing £100?! xMummytogirls x0 -
DFF - it is my ING account, I have one account but when you log in it has a summary page, and you can split your money between 10 different 'pots' and name them, so I have a water bill pot, an xmas fund pot, a car tax pot etc ... that way I can put money away each month for those bills that come in annually, so for example the car tax pot gets £13 per month, and then when its due (ie. tomorrow
) I have theright amount in there to pay for it and can transfer it to my current account and pay from there
MTG - I think the £100 has been swallowed upI know there was one matched betting error where it was in euros and I thought it was pounds, so was about £30 less than I expected when it arrived back in my current account, I also didn't track the last minute christmas gift buying and the odd little extra shop the week before christmas for food and bits, so I think it has just been spent without noticing
Must try harder!!
Anyway, good news, the car is now fixed, it was a flat battery after all and my friend has charged it overnight for me and refitted it and its working nicely now :j The tenner made earlier will be spent tomorrow on beer for himMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Yay to the car being fixed :j, suppose £10 in beer if cheaper than a trip to the garage!!
Blooming hate cars, mine cost me £80 on the 21st for sommat to do with the brakes !Mummytogirls x0 -
They are stupidly expensive things aren't they, and so unpredictable too  I have got about £100 in the car maintenance pot at the moment but that won't go far as it wasn't serviced last year so needs doing this year
Okay, am in bed with the laptop, the flat is 95% finished, my new housework schedule is done ready for printing out, and I want to get as many other jobs as possible finished off tomorrow before the new year.
I've promised mum I'll look after dad for a day this week, not sure yet whether it will be tomorrow or sunday, probably sunday. I need to write a nice long list of stuff to do tomorrow and then crack on with it in the morning;- get the car tax
- write thankyou letters
- return stuff to Next
- swap something in M&S for a different size
- move boxes from the hall to the garage
- food shopping
- clean guinea pigs out
- pay in cheques
- call to find out about swimming lessons
- call to get end of year mortgage balance
- return library book

Morning all, payday today and I got a nice surprise, £45 more than normal in there :j I'm guessing its a backdated payrise, we sometimes get one about this time of year and its usually about £5 a month extra) :T :T
That money will be used towards the Next bill, so should clear a good chunk off that
My M&S order has just been delivered too, really pleased with that, for £9 I got a new jumper for ds, 3 school shirts for ds which he desperately needed and some Autograph tweezers with an in-built light for my sil birthday in January
So time to get cracking on that list of mineMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Back from shopping, got loads of jobs done
While we were out I did buy ds some new boots, (reduced to £15), he currently only has school shoes and one battered pair of trainers so they were very much needed. I also picked up 3 more school shirts for september reduced to £3 on M&S and spent £27 in sainsburys on food, mainly for tomorrow as we have mum and dad, sister, bil and 2 nephews coming round for lunch
I also got the car tax, went to the libraray and the bank so can now cross lots off the list

Mortgage balance confirmed, a bit higher than I thought but never mind, its still a good achievement for 12 months :T :T
Just off to sort out my new signature ready for the new yearMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Right, most of my records are now set ready for the new year
My mortgage pot tracker is cleared ready to be filled from matched bets, mystery shops and wherever else
I'm taking ds to mums for the night soon, then home for a bath before going to a friends house tonight to see in the new year. Normally I feel a bit sentimental about the old year going but tonight I can't get rid of this one fast enoughSo bring on the new one and all that it may bring, surely it can't be more of a rollercoaster than this ones been??
Thankyou to every single one of you who reads, posts or supports in any way on here, it really does mean a huge amount and has really helped me stay on track this year more than ever :T :T May you all be safe, healthy and happy in 2011 and may we have lots more fun
