Just been sent another mb offer, considering we've gone for weeks with almost none suddenly the bookies seem to have remembered to give out some offers :T
I have sorted ds wardrobe / drawers and filled a bin liner with old stuff, almost all of it was just binable, its all been well worn and therefore not really worth putting on ebay. His cupboard is looking a little bare now but at least I know that what is there is wearable and fits, so in the sales I will know where there are gaps in his cupboard. I'm not planning on going mad in the sales but I will get stuff if it is needed, I just need to know exactly what it is thats needed
I have tidied and hoovered my bedroom and hall, about to tackle the lounge next, then ds bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are tidy they just need a clean. Then I'm looking forward to mooching on here for a while and looking at the budgets. Later on, maybe this evening, I will dig out the decs and start putting a few bits up, I'd like to get the tree sorted tomorrow if possible, it just depends on the snow situation

Well ds bedroom is still in the same state, but the rest of the flat is presentable
I've had my bath and ds is in there now. Dinners cooking nicely (cod fillets, chips and peas), then its a nice vegging evening ahead
I checked the budgets, so far this month I have spent £43, which includes £7 to see santa, and in total I have the following to spend this month; £200 food, £60 petrol, £120 other. I have got a couple of matched bet offers on the go at the moment so hopefully there will be a bit more to add in there at some point. Of the £43 spends, £33 was on food, £10 was other (santa + non-essential fish and chips the other night). So, 3 days into the month:
Food: £33 / £200
Petrol: £0 / £60
Other: £10 / £120Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Morning all
The rain came last night and the snow has gone
It still looks a bit icy out there but generally is back to normal. I will give it a couple of hours to warm up a bit then need to go food shopping, although I think it will be heaving in there today ...
We're also going to try and venture out for the Christmas tree today too. We've got all the decs out already and put up a few but just need the tree to get it all done properly now.
So its shaping up to be a big spending day today already, need to watch the pennies and not go too mad

We've been out and got the tree, in the end I did get an artificial one, B and Q are doing all theirs half price so picked up a nice one for £14.99 and a new set of lights, again half-price, for £7.49, as I have about 8 sets, all passed down from my parents years ago, half of the bulbs don't work etc, so thought we'd get a new lot. So in total it came to £23.48 but mum was with us and she had a 15% off voucher, so that took it down to £19.96, so £20 for a tree and lights, I'm very happy with that

Wr came home and ds 'helped' me decorate it
Its not quite the same as a real tree, but for this year its a more mse way to do it
I also put £16 of petrol in the car as it was getting low, but it was much more expensive than usual so only put in a bit and will fill up again somewhere else later in the week.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
