What a great idea to have an activity rather than a goodie in the calendar. I think I'll need to do that next year, managed to scrape together a mixture of packets of raisins, christmas crackers, freebie toys from newspapers and a few random things I found in my present box - today's was a set of metallic markers I have absolutely no recollection of ever putting in a shopping trolley!0

hi benben, you would have to be superhuman not to feel fed up (to put it mildly) at how things are going at the moment, and the reason for that. It must be frustrating beyond words for someone whom you don't respect to be still influencing your choices so much.
But your DS's idea of an activity for you did make me giggle.....

If I were you, BB, I'd check the rest of the activities he's got in his advent calendar. I imagine that they will all be much of a muchness with just the odd change between trains and buses...

Smart Mart - I was just thinking the same thing... can imagine poor BenBen having to look at trains every day coming up to Christmas.0

Evening all, well so far we have escaped the snow, but all the forecasts suggest we are gonna get hit tonight :j :j I'm sooo excited at the thought of a super-duper long weekend, as we only need a sniff of it and our school closes as half the kids come in on coaches from all over the forest and the coach companies won't run them

Ds is happy enough not to do the trains tonight as it is so cols, so we're going to turn the lights off and make a cinema and snuggle under a blanket on the sofa to watch the Polar Express
I made some ice cubes using a christmas tree mould this morning and ds thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread
Spends today = £10.53 stocking up in tesco express on bread, milk, mince pies, cream, etc just in case we're snowed in tonight
Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Finally we seem to be getting our first bit of snow :j :j My velux window is now nicely covered and it feels like I live in an igloo

I'm so excited at the thought of a day off tomorrow, I bet I wont sleep now
I have done a matched bet tonight that will get me a free bet in the next day or two so will update once its through, hopefully £10-£15 profit in it which will do nicely to help the December fund.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
