We've been out and about in the snow, had lots of fun but was really cold. Ds wants to stay out there but its too cold for me :o My nice neighbour popped round earlier and offered to clear my steps and path of snow for me if I was happy to let him use some of my rock salt :T Old-fashioned decent neighbour, fab :D

Last nights matched bet freebie came in and has made me £11 profit which is very welcome. Just waiting to see the world cup bid outcome and then I want to add up where my moneys at. Today I have spent £5.73 on bread, sausage rolls and some bits for grandad and another £5.50 in co-op on milk, butter etc, enough to keep us going for a few days :)

The snow is fab isn't it!! But it's very fluffy and we couldn't make a snowman :( we walked to Asda through some little woods and it was lovely, just like a winter wonderland :D:D:D:D we had a McD's and walked back. I put Miracle on 34th Street on but I fell asleep!!

Oh on the 22nd a couple of friends from work are coming along too, one has 2 kids, a boy who is similar age to DS and a DD who is same age as my DD and Kira who has no kids but she wants to come along and feel all Christmassy... hope that's ok with you? x

I was called about half an hour ago from a bank I have a savings account with and asked to complete an online survey; I checked them out as being legit and did the survey, which took approx 8 minutes, and have earned a £15 Amazon voucher, woohoo!! :j :j

Morning all, another snow day here so a nice long weekend for us :j
I also managed a whole nights sleep until I got the school text at 6 so thats good too :D

I promised ds we'd go out sledging today, and the other thing I want to do today is gut his wardrobe / drawers and see what actually fits him. Yesterday I thought he had tonnes of cold weather stuff but his thermals are age 3-4 (he's 7 :o), his boots are a size too small and his all in one zip up anorak thing is getting too small, so I need to check everything else too, hasn't been done for a long time, and maybe he'll get a few bits for xmas to pad it out again :)

Woohoo, postie has just been and delivered me a John Frieda gift set; I filled in for a freebie a while ago, i'd forgotten about it, and it came today and its lovely :) Its got a £10 price sticker from Boots on the front of it, it contains shampoo, conditioner, serum, hair masque and controlling creme, all in a lovely gift box :j Now to decide whether to keep it or give it to someone for xmas ... :D:D
