Sure could Gemmz..do you know DH went to visit him once and had to buy him some shoes? Care home took their shoes from them to stop them going walkabout....DH wanted to take him for lunch but they couldn't find his shoes !!!!!!!Debt-free...and staying that way...0

SRM - excuse me for butting in, but I think you have a case to take further here. When my dad died, and I know that is a closer relative, but there was no Will. I had to go to the Clerk to the Courts, swear an oath that I knew of no living relative who should benefit from his estate even though there was very little. Dad lived with us and therefore there was only the money in his bank account and his car. However, I can't see that the Care Home can go to the Clerk and say they should benefit because they are not a relative. I certainly would dig deeper because there is something very fishy here!! Well it looks like they just sold the house and contents in one go,no one knows what happened to the bikes,or if they do,they ain't saying! At least DH managed to get one of the Manx Nortons here before Uncle died...he gave it to him to restore..registrations alone were all like 6AB or 9KC etc.....Debt-free...and staying that way...0
