Evening - hope everyone going away has a brilliant time, the weather is gorgeous and the beds are soft XX

Hope squeak is behaving pigpen, and a big hi to Lady L. Congratulations for Mr and Mrs Zoelikesjam.

Sorry I missed last night, had my head on google and various sites - may have finally got an answer to ongoing health problems since cancer last year - Doctor has diagnosed CFS or Fibromyalgia, and having read the symptoms, it is a relief to read a list which describes how I feel. So any advice anyone can give on trying to structure my week to preserve my 'spoons' I would be grateful. At the moment I keep overdoing it and ending up in a worse state. I seem to remember there are sufferers on here of these, and any advice would be gratefully received, by pm if that is better for you. The good news was the head MRI was completely clear, so ruled out anything like MS or similar. (And he said they found a brain - I was really surprised!)

Anyhow in news on flying, following on from the brilliant advice from toots, I have tried to quit worrying and try and do something - so yesterday I did a bit of faffing in DSs room and hoovered and put away (the tidy half anyway) and put the washing away. Today I have had a tidy of the conservatory which is looking a little better now, and a bit of sorting in the kitchen in a v small glory hole. I also sorted out my electricity tariff and reduced my DD by £17.00 and got a £95.00 refund. So apart from the bathroom, which has had to make do with a quick swipe with a wet wipe, cleaner in the loo and a tidy, I have pretty much done level one this week.

Thanks guys for the help, you talk a lot of sense and are a great community to be part of. Hopefully this will motivate me to at least do one thing each day, and then build on it.

  • Morning flygang!

DS had a sleepover at school last night (well hopefully some sleep was involved :rotfl:) and I'm up cooking sausages etc to take up for brekkie.

Can't wait to see how they got on - so multitasking just now, cooking brekkie and trying to do a few bits of my list, get DH to get up, and two adults showered & vaguely presentable.

    See you later,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning Everyone

Up at 4am this morning:eek::eek: all in a good cause though as my local Next had the sale starting at 5. Have never done this before and expected mayhem but whilst there was a lot of people there it was all very civilised and I was out by 6.30 :) Went straight to the supermarket for some fresh (still hot) bread and have just had a lovely sausage sandwich and a large tea. I have spent more than I planned to but quite a bit will go back as you couldn't try anything on so where I loved something I did buy a couple of sizes to make sure.

So I will probably be dropping by this afternoon and a snooze will be in order but in the mean time I intend to attack the kitchen for a deep clean

    To Do Today
    [STRIKE]Laundry[/STRIKE]
Laundry outside if rain keeps off
    Hoover downstairs
    Tidy lounge
    Clean oven :( hate this
Declutter and clean 2 cupboards and 2 drawers
    Clean breakfast bar stools
Sort fridge out and check dates
    Clean windows in kitchen

That will do for now so I will see how I get on

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Good morning!

I forced myself out of bed half an hour ago and had my first cuppa. DS1 is out on his paperround and DH is getting ready for work.

    Plan for today:
    Peg towels out
Go into town for thank you cards, mask making stuff stuff and to collect DS2's school trousers from M&S.
    Wash/air DofE stuff for DS1
    Empty and re-load DW
Go to club for summer fair in aid of Help for Heroes (from 10.30)
Go to school for High School Musical performance (2.30)
    Do tea
Bake stuff for DS1 to take on his trip
    work stuff
    read with DS2

I'll probably add to this during the day, but got to get started. Time for a quick beakfast, second cuppa and get washed/dressed. See you all later. x

Sounds like you need one yourself! Hope it's not too bad.
And thanks for the reminder about the lego. I'd seen it advertised, but then forgot about it. As I'll be in town in a bit I can actually get it.

    Hello all,

Sorry I've been missing in inaction this week. Pretty much zero flying done with quite a few things going on, had to work in leeds this week - managed to cut it down to only one day though thankfully as it means leaving at 6am and not getting home til 8pm, and I needed to be looking after my sister most nights. Plus we're still trying to sort cars and garage out - has required 4 surveyors and 2 builders to check it out so far, and the only visible progress has been to prop the front and get courtesy cars. Thankfully my parents are back now so that will take some of the pressure off.

So, after 2 weeks of very little being done here the house is a bit of a sty. My plan for today is a superflying morning: HHsomethings all morning with 10 mins breather in between for tea and catching up on here. Then am out to visit a friend this afternoon, so . Got my list, but no time to type it all out here.

Not had the chance to read back yet so hope everyone's ok, will catch up with everything over the course of the day I hope.

Right my next HHC starts at 9.55...
