    pots dried
    jam admired
gave DS a half-a-spoonful and he got not one, not two but three stones
    *spit**spit**spit*
still, he NOW believes it's cherry and not bramble jelly or blackcurrant jam.

Next time I make cherry jam *rubs chin* I just might make cherry jelly instead...

have remade two beds and done some ironing and refused to pick DS up (from cinema) because there are pots in his room and clothes on his floor.

No flying from me this week apart from 1xWM and meal making and washing up.

Been trying to choose a ruby wedding anniversary present for my mum for later in the year and will be off to cas vegas at some point to search out some crystal and find a lovely vase for her as dad is no longer here. I have given her so far a Ruby Wedding clematis and lovely rose (darcey bussell) to enjoy now

Enjoying the start of the proms and this gorgeous Mahler piece thats on with all the voices and music

Oh yes, have applied for a new role at work and will see in a couple of weeks what the outcome is or whether someone else gets it. Still waiting to hear if I am on the masters course starting in a couple of months, wish I knew now and then could sort some funding out

This weekend looks like a busy flying one for me or might just leave it for next week instead and have a week off from flying around  :rotfl:

I have finished packing all i can tonight.:j I'm now decluttering a cup of coffee and am going to watch BB. We're not leaving stupidly early now either so it won't be quite so manic in the morning.

Since my last post i have

    Put batteries in Ds2's camera
    Finished packing
Bathed Ds2 & put him to bed
    Put rabbits to bed
    S & S Kitchen

    Evening all

Phew - one more week to go, and we are back to normal classes from Monday after the activity week (which went better than expected). I've read a few pages during the week, but that's about it.

The crazy week-end Part 1 has gone according to plan. We decluttered some money at DS2's summer fair - cheap plants and books for me :D, one of those singing fish wall things for the boys  and a Guinness glass filled with brown socks and a cream flannel for DS1. Also buns, drinks and various games....
Then a trip to the nearest go outdoors (over 30min away). DS1 now has a kind of water bag to go in his rucksack (called a platypus, of all things), two dried ready meals, camping gas and a very light sleeping bag. I got a new small rucksack for myself for £3.99 :money:(regular price £15), as I had to throw mine away. I don't envy DS1 - he'll be carrying all gear plus food for 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 evening meals, plus water and snacks. On the other hand, going to that shop always makes me want to buy a tent and set off hiking, or something similar involving camping.

I'm now going to start DW and WM, make a nice cuppa and settle on the sofa. I might keep up with fred if I don't fall asleep. Have a nice weekend, everyone. x

Well done Holly - I'm nearly there too just want to make the picnic for lunch tomorrow. We're leaving at 7:30 and have probably a 12-14 hour day of travelling in total with stops.

Hope you all have a fantastic week xxx

Evening fly ladies! No flying for me today...mainly because I came straight to my mum's from work till tomorrow afternoon but also because I don't have much on today's list that I need to do anyway. There's no mimi-me's at our house so only the spare room and that was done last week and hasn't been used since so should be ok. Although OH did the washing yesterday and apparently we now have a bedrobe in the spare room so at some point over the weekend I'll have to transport it all into the wardrobe.

Tomorrow night I'm going to see Russell Watson in an outdoor concert so please all keep your fingers crossed for good weather on the East Coast!
