Pub run went OK, I guess; the two "boys" (if you can call a 53 year old and a 60 year old boys:D) enjoyed themselves, and I got us back without getting too lost (I have no sense of direction to speak of).

BUT..... this morning, I've suffered the fallout.:( No sleep last night, and kept bursting into tears for no apparent reason all morning, and feeling very shaky.:( I wish to goodness I could find a way not to feel like this whenever I have to go and socialise with people.:( I bluff my way through the evening OK, but invariably suffer the next day.:(

(((hugs))) LW, is this a condition of the lupus? I do hope thats what it is and I don't have it wrong! :o

Certainly depression tends very much to go along with lupus; the problem I have is also social phobia, which as I've become less mobile and no longer physically able to go out alone, has become a lot worse; I now find myself avoiding social events, and not coping well when I have to attend them.

Being dog-tired after a social event most certainly is lupus-related, as it uses up a heck of a lot more spoons than relaxing at home.:o And I'm sure being dog-tired makes it harder to cope with the social phobia-related nerves.

As Mummyslittleboy has noted, the BD is on the prowl today - I think it's come in to shelter from the rain! *wry grin*

*goes to look for yard broom to chase BD back outside*

ETA OK, I give up for today. I don't have any spoons left, and I [STRIKE]think[/STRIKE] hope I can be forgiven for not doing any more today. I'll try to do better tomorrow.:o

  • Take it easy, LW, you've earned your time off.

Right. Decluttered bass practice. Couldn't resist but speed up a little on the exercises and by the end, was nearly up to light speed. Pointless showboating, but :D. That's why I do it.

Went round charity shops try to locate a Haynes Manual for a 1996 Mk 4 Fiesta 1.8 Encore. Now The Bloke has one, can I find a manual? No chance.

Then back to find that KH1 has, despite the payment of 7 years of unpaid maintenance only going in on Friday, has already instructed the CSA to come after me for money in respect of DD1. The CSA people were very apologetic, but in some strange way I find it incredibly amusing that they couldn't get him for 7 years, but they are after me in under 7 days. Oh well, it's not as if I'm not liable for her - and I'm not a good for nothing scumbag who would rather make their child suffer than give their ex money they are entitled to for child maintenance. :A

The Bloke is here to see DD2 in her parrot debut tonight. The noise of the two of them is incredible - she's currently showing him how to work her iPod.

And there's wet stuff falling! Yayy! :j:j:j:j Yayy! At last! Yayy! Ya-

Oh. It's stopped. The big yellow shiny thing is back.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

I guess they know how to get hold of you, having just paid you... but did you ask them whether you could take 7 years to pay too?

Afternoon my lovelies – so sorry I haven’t been on – mega tired; will tell all later. For now, as I’ve only read the last page I can say:

LW – Hugs to you. Rest your body woman! What about one of them driving for a change as well? Get Mr LW to give the BD a kick up the bum and outta the door x
Mummyslittleboy – Hugs to you too and do the same with the BD
JoJo – Did you get money?! I’m flabbergasted and well done you on doing what is right and decent; he should of done that many years ago
Has Soappie been on or is she missing like me?
Toot – my love I hope your ok. Still haven’t sent you an e-mail!
LL – hope your doing ok lovely
Piggers – Have you had squeak? Bet the hot weather hasn’t helped you , rach or smartie

Well home life is manic – I just feel like a skivvy and then working full time as well. This week I’ve tried to encourage DD2 to do a bit even if it’s only emptying the DW – not going according to plan as yet! DD1 being a bit of nightmare – boyfriend problems, not looking for a job, not helping in the house (mind she never did so can’t expect bloody miracles can I?!). This morning before work I:

Got up at 5.30 – Chloe crying and can’t sleep through her or ignore her
Went to local co-op at 6.30 for mushrooms – did they have any? Did they flip!
7.00 drove to other co-op and got mushrooms
Prepared a pork thing with tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, passata, stock and bouquet of garni and bunged in slow cooker. God knows what it will be like!
    Loaded WM
    Loaded DW
    Emptied washer
    Hung out washing
    Washed baby bottles
    Sterilised baby bottles
    Made up said bottles
    S/S’d the kitchen
    S/S’d the living room
    Made the bed
Put out all the bins as it’s recycling as well today
    Warmed Chloe’s bottle up
    Put changing mat etc away
    Made umpteen coffees!
Did the usual shower etc blah blah

Then dashed home at lunch to bring in the washing at it looked like rain and they should have been dry by then (they were) made lunch for DD2 and me – DD1 didn’t want anything. Stirred slow cooker stuff. Asked DD2 to empty the DW – will see if she has managed that in a minute when I leave work! Made a bottle for Chloe and took my lunch back to work to eat.

Sorry for the moaning post after being missing! Love and hugs all round – will try and catch up at some point xxx
