Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaan nice to see you but sorry to read tou are so tired and the DD's are not helping much - I know its not easy but you will have to be firm with these girls - I can understand you wanting to be a help to mum and baby but .....(you knew there would be a but!!!).. why dont you leave DD2 in full charge in all things baby related like the bottles, sterilising washing filling warming etc - washing Chloe's clothes, tidying up baby stuff - she is never going to cope if you dont get her into routines now IMHO ( you know I dont have kids so tell me to push off!!!) - if she was with the Dad or whoever she would have to be doing it and it may get her more organised to help in the house. And angel why are you running home to make lunch for these 'helpless' girls and you dont have time to sit and have your own???? Stop running around after them angel - the more you do the less they will.
I fully acknowledge that I dont know what its like in your house but you have enough to do keeping the place tidy and clean , washing and cooking without the extras.
As for DD1 not helping - if she is not working then she needs to 'earn' her keep - at least doing all her own stuff and her room.
    You spoil them!!!!
you should leave a list of say 5 jobs for them to do bewteen them before you get home????
I would have been a rotten mother - I suppose it was because we had loads of chores to do (I always feel so sorry for those of you with problem children who wont help) - I would have got my kids to clear up from childhood onwards.
I hope they start to pull their weight because i do not want to hear that you are tired and get run down and have the black dog - I worry about you. (((hugs)))

On a lighter note - how is your grand-daughter - is she all you expected and just adorable???

    toots xx

Hugs to LW xx and carlsgerggal xx
    Pigpen.....hope Squeak is behaving xx

I have no brain at the moment and have done very little flying....Nothing planned for tomorrow morning(going to look for shoes on Fri when we take the kids to pizza hut) so going to get this house in order. My mother has borrowed the bed from the spare room so I really need to do the carpet and skirting boards in there while I am able.
I have had a bit of a headache and nausea this afternoon but think it was just rushing about and not eating properly.....have rectified that and done very little and eaten something!!!!
Tomorrow will be designated to sorting the house and me......so let's find me list so I know whats in store for the rest of the week......

carlsberggal, Toots is 100% right, but your foot down now before you run yourself into the ground.

I've been and gotten hubby's meds, he didn't sleep well last night and even stayed in the livingroom. I'm hoping it's a one off and doesn't mess with his sleep.

WM and DW both on as well as TD, still raining here. Kids have been killing each other all day, roll on bedtime.:D

Right dinner nearly done, i made lasagne not a shop bought one. Woohoo never made it before, i'm not really a good cook just stick to what i know. I just hope it tastes good.

    Best set the table.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

valli I thought of you earlier and then decided you would not be interested now - we had not 1 but 4 FIRE appliances in the street filled with men in uniform - knocking on all our doors to do fire checks!!! I spoke to 2 who then sent 2 more to do the check - they were very nice but not my type - and I got an all clear so they wont be coming here again!!

    toots xx

Now then, whatever makes you think I would NOT be intersted *looks puzzled*

Scrub with one of those green scrubby things you use for pots to remove all the soap scum.. then buff with a soft (microfibre?) cloth and vinegar..
Or Wilkos sell pink and blue scrubby things for the bathroom which are a bit bigger (and would therefore do the job more quickly;) Which reminds me - I need a new one (they are in a pack of two)

Supergirl - well hello to you...

    you've NOT missed much ;)

    It's the weekend!

Lots to do as per, but the last week before I break up although I have been asked to go in for a meeting Friday (grumble) so I shall have to be super efficient then I can have some *down time* this weekend, should a certain gentleman call;)

I left out a TONNE of washing today with instructions to DS to bring it in either if it had dried or if it rained. We have had a massive downpour and full-on thunder and lightning but I got home to collected washing - phew. So that will be my first job.

Lamewolf huge (((hugs))) have something calming and chill - you maybe need to have a real pleasure thing lined up for the day after a jaunt like that.
Thanks Toots. Unfortunately, the day after, Mr LW is invariably at work, so I'm just left rattling around the bungalow, going over and over the previous night in my head, worrying if I managed to offend anyone, worrying that they must all just see me as "the cripple in the corner" kind of thing, and generally doing my own head in. And yes, I know it's daft, but it doesn't stop me worrying, just the same. *insert shruggy smilie* This time, just to add to it,Mr LW is on late shift, and not in yet.:(

I'm so glad that tonight's dins is just pop it on plates and nuke it (it's the 2nd half of the Shepherd Spy I made yesterday).:o

Aha, I hear a car door, must be a hungry Mr LW.

    Laters......:o

Hi SkintGypsy, I had the same problem when I first started Flying; we have very hard water in this area (it's so hard it has tattoos, piercings and a Mohawk!:rotfl:)

Steady with that humour, girl!! I've now got a noseful of tea...

Miss H ooh, best of luck; I think I'd sooner saw my own leg off with a rusty breadknife than give a lecture, but I'm sure you're a braver lady than I.

Thanks LW (and Toots, too), but I'm not sure I am! I know I can write the lecture itself, time permitting, but I have this terrible fear of talking in public because the first thing that happens is I go bright tomato red disapproval.gif. And then all I can think of is how silly hahaha.gif I must look.... and I start gabbling too fast ranting.gif, and waving my hands around eccentrically...pinkie.gifand then I feel a complete plonker afterwards. :o

Which for someone who works in Psychology is really tough - I mean - I even know all the theory on this stuff but it doesn't help a bit... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

BUT..... this morning, I've suffered the fallout.:( No sleep last night, and kept bursting into tears for no apparent reason all morning, and feeling very shaky.:( I wish to goodness I could find a way not to feel like this whenever I have to go and socialise with people.:( I bluff my way through the evening OK, but invariably suffer the next day.:(

Sorry to hear this - would a virtual {{hug}} help???? xxxx
