    Hello everyone

Had a very busy couple of days at work so housework is on the back burner again. Tomorrow I will get back on track though as I am working from home. Despite all I have managed to wash the car, emptied and filled DW and wiped the surfaces. Pathetic I know but I will try harder tomorrow :)

Vanilla hope the meds help and DH and he sleeps better again. It must be very worrying for you (((hugs)))

LameWolf well what about organising the night out so that Mr LW's shift is an early and is working at home the next day so that you are not alone and are occupied? or something along those lines? and yes you are being silly but I can understand what you mean.

boddy thats really brilliant news xxxx

Toots Hey babes, I'm fine too! The job's still good. I've reduced my hours a bit, it was all getting too much, and I had a bit of a burn out. I'm good now. And, I love what I do, it's the perfect job for me :D
    Valli Hey lady, how's you?

DH came in and nearly fainted, downstairs is looking really good. :D LOVE IT!!!!!

I need help from you oldstyle experts. Rather disturbingly it seems I have no idea how to clean the glass in my shower or what to clean it with. This means that in the three years we have lived in this brand new house, I have never given it more than a cursory hose down. Shame on me. Anywho, any top tips as to how to make it shiny again? Do I use window cleaner cos it's glass?

If you have limescale deposits, a wipe over with vinegar on a cloth will reomve that. Shine them up, then, with a clean microfibre cloth :)More in this thread.

boddy - well done on the funding, it must be a relief for you
Piggers - that must be a relief with school not being over and done with yet
Valli - ooooooooooooooh how is the love life?
Toots et all - you are all right, before all this change I was harder but have let my soft side take over and they are taking advantage. They are after all 19 and 20 and I have taught them well as DD1 always says "if there's one- thing you have taught us it's to clean well" whenever I comment on how nice her bedroom looks when she has cleaned it. I have been harder this week (well a bit!), DD2 did indeed empty the DW and she hoovered the rug in the living room - only the rug though!

I agree with her doing the bottles etc - have been teaching her, after all it's not rocket science! She just needs a routine. She has been down and weepy which is why I have been a big softie. I also need her to do her washing as well - though she did do 1 load on monday, but you know how much washing a person can get through and there is Chloe as well.

Chloe is delightful and beautiful and greedy toots - last friday she weighed 9lb 15oz and that's noly 2 weeks on from her birth when she weighed 8lb 12 1/2ozs.

DD2's dad completed the purchase of the house sale he has bought cash just up our road (remember me telling you?) for DD2. Needs decorating and a new kitchen and bathroom, but is 3 beds and is ideal as she will be near us - wonder why he bought it!

Since I came home I've finished cooking tea, served it, ate it, had an alcholic drink, fed Chloe whilst DD2 is in the bath and baby is now fast asleep in her moses basket.

Danny is doing fab - 3 times a week he has to go to York for physio but a lot better in himself, he goes to the gym at least twice a day as well. DH is back to normal work now after his op so that's a relief. My work is sh£te as normal. I also have what I think is a boil coming up in my armpit and can be a bit sore.

Right enough of me being a moaning minny again! Ha result! DD2 has come done from bath and I asked her to wash the bottles and she is!

I'm fine Supergirl - thought about you often especially as you seem to have been quiet on facebook too...
You'll be proud of me - I have had 'open and frank' discussions with DS and bought him 'a packet of 3';) (well a box of 12 really but I know a 'packet of 3' will tell you what I got him.) He keeps going for chlamydia tests though as he gets free gifts :rotfl: got a soft toy which has gone to GF ;) Wouldn't mind but he claims to still have his cherry :rotfl:

other than that same old same old

    nothing much happening in Valliland

oh I did pull :rotfl: not said much on here about it though;)

    Ironing done!

Graaaaaaaaaaaaan sorry for having a go at you - but you are a big softie xx if DD2 is going to have a house of her own soon then she needs to be getting routines in place now while she has some back up. It must be quite scary for her but she will cope if you push her a little. Stick with the firm mummy bit a bit more - and that 'boil' is a sign that you are run down and you body isnt attacking the bugs - please take care of yourself and get them helping you more. thats great news about Danny and DH too xx

I had a lovely chat with natty - its been a day of phone calls but its gone quiet so I am off to finish the kitchen, well see what I can do.

    toots xx

toots - you weren't having a go - you were caring about me - there's a BIG difference and I appreciate it believe me. She's in the living room and Chloe is a bit fractcious but am leaving here to cope for now xx
