    Morning everyone (and thanks to the usual suspects). Sorry to have been MIA since last week. Two reasons, really:

    * Toxic family issues again <sigh> just as we thought we had ridden out the storm
    * P/time research work suddenly went into a flat spin when the department suddenly budded up and asked for me to write two third-year u/grad lectures, to be ready for mid-August

    :eek::eek::eek:

    ...Which sounds a long time, but.... (a) We're off on holiday at the end of next week; (b) I haven't got the material to hand (or even to brain) and will have to write/research from scratch; (c) I've never given a lecture in my life and the thought of doing so is turning me green from the stomach outwards.... bitenails.gif

    It probably seems like a trifle to you teacher/consultant types, but I'm usually most firmly a 'backroom girl'....

    So there's not much cleaning going on, though I'm going to try and do level one on most rooms, just to keep things tidy-ish. Must also wipe over the bathroom as it is looking highly disreputable...

    The rest of the time I am sitting in front of a laptop gibbering very quietly and pitifully...

    Back later and I may have a list...
