    Morning all

It's another grey day out there but it's not cold.

Well done toots on crossing some more jobs off the list in your siggy
Welcome back lilo, sounds like you have had a lot on your plate recently, it's not surprising that flying takes a back step. I don't really have an excuse for not flying other than a huge dollop of CBA.

Anyway I hope to get a few bits done today before I go out with my friend.

MrsMH - have recently cleaned mine with some caustic oven cleaner called Kleen Off by Jeyes. (Cheap in Wilko) It's a bit nasty (don't breathe in when spraying and wear gloves etc) but did get my oven quite clean after being well neglected!

Will try & get some of that next time I'm in town, thank you.

    (((Lilo))) take care x

Morning campers, wow woke up late and that was only due to someone ringing me at 8.30am to see how I was..ugh I hadn't even woken up..lol We have some strange sighting in the sky - the sky is blue and there is something shiny up high d_sunny.gif Not actually sure how long it will last as my little weather gizmo toolbar is telling me that it will be raining todayn- ugh!!! Better get to the crematorium before it does this otherwise I will have to hunt out my wellies and go squelching across the grass.. Oooh hold on we have had rain for the past two days think I had better hunt out my wellies anyway.. Now I have to plan the outfit to co-ordinate with the pink wellies..lol

No birds to report this morning, think I am too late for them, they have defected somewhere else - no I don't think they are up and about either. The only birdies up and about are the darling sparrows - they are always around whatever time of day. Oooh I can see a doves head peeping out of the tree nest, think they might be on the move shortly - wait for the splash in the water bowl as Mr Woody Woodpigeon joins them. :rotfl:

Later today I shall go caterpiller hunting on my cabbages as the white butterfly has been around a few times. Then put some pea netting across them - I can't believe how big the cabbages are growing. They have lovely little heads already.. Wonder if I can pick the huge outer leaves and cook them as spring greensJC_thinking.gif

Hmm I am sure I have forgotten things, including what people have been up to/done etc.. Sorry will go back through thread later on today and update. In the meantime have lots of these HUGS

Oh great now the radio is playing "Love Hurts" by Jim Capaldi which I had at Mums funeral..as if I need an excuse to start blubbing..:(:(

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning lovelies,

Going to have a mad flylady day today and try to catch up/get in front a bit. Might even finish the painting on the stairs (only started in May, ooops). Washed the sofa covers yesterday but they are stubbornly refusing to dry, grey day here yesterday and today so that's probably why.

I'm with you Greenbee and Jojo - I don't like to be caught working and do like to give the impression of calm competence so sail around in a swan-like graceful way, with the legs going billy-o under the water. Causes no end of consternation when they can't see any work being done but it is magically all complete...mwah-ah-ah... I guess that's why I love fly-lady, mad HHC or 2, rooms clean and tidy and no-one caught me at it!:D

Well done to all you new folk, keep at it, welcome back Lilo and MrsMH. Loving the posts folks, you are very amusing this week :rotfl:

    See you later x

    Morning everyone xx

Oh boy, I shot myself in the foot yesterday..."declutter 5 things from each room" seemed soooo manageable in theory....but the reason my house is a tip is BECAUSE I'm not good at throwing stuff out. However by gritting my teeth and ignoring the nausea I did de-clutter 32 items...only managed 2 from H/S/L as I was going into shock by then.

Said 32 items were binned, recycled or put in a box by back door ready to go to charity shop...Mistake No 2!!! as, this morning, DS sees box and says suspiciously 'what's that stuff in there for?' Explained. Exit for college one unhappy DS! Am now wondering how much 'stuff' will still be in box when I get home from work as he's only in college til lunchtime._pale_ Heyho.

BUT... reading through the thread had helped me see that (a) it's not just me (b) I can manage today's Level 1 after work....hehe that's what my brain just did at the thought of doing anything after 5pm.

Also on the plus side you've made me :rotfl:especially with the cat/catflap saga AND I came down to a clean sink, draining board & cooker top again this morning...and I really like that feeling.

Message received and understood toots, my aim is to get the house into a 'state' where I can follow the lists daily.

Have a good day y'all xx
