Debt Now : £14574.14
Goals for next week:
1) List old phone on ebay!!!!!
2) List the SIM cards I have on ebay.
3)List that step counter gadget thing I won on ebay!
4)By next post, try to have enough cash in my current account to cover MOT/Service AND still have a cushion!
5)Spend as little as possible.
6) Chase Tax office for my updated code and refund.
Ok. So I know these are the same goals as the past two weeks, BUT it was my birthday, and I was away this weekend and..... well. I'm rubbish! But I'm going to keep trying to get it done!Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:

I'm glad that we're seeing lots of success on this thread!
My personal achievements recently have been:
1) Draw up a realistic budget in Excel complete with spending diary integrated in it so that I can track spending!
2) Reclaim bank charges - onto the last £30 now, £80 successfully reclaimed
3) Reclaim PPI - got back £261.80 from Egg
4) Decide to sell my BTL property as it's no longer profitable and then I can pay off the rest of my debts...
So currently I'm focussed on getting my flat sold. The tenant has been given notice and I've got three estate agents booked to have a look around and give me a valuation. I'll end up with about £20,000 if I sell it for what one of my neighbours sold for recently, but I won't sell it until the end of April earliest so I'll have to make sure that my debts are as low as possible so that, when I do sell, I get to keep the money not just see it all go out the door again!

I know
that's why I paid off that bizarrely uneven number! I figure a really head to head challenge might spur us on a bit?
