Moorcroft just rang me at home, happen to have a few days off. Very pleasant lady who said if you pay off your Egg loan which we are dealing with (just over £7K) we will knock 20% off the amount owed. She went to go on and I said Sorry to interupt but I cant afford to pay it off. But she carried on telling me what an offer it was - I said 6 times I could not afford it. She then eventually said she would send me the details in writing if i wanted to proceed with it. Do they listen. Then said they would want an increased payment from me in January. I said I couldnt afford this and then the niceness changed. I will HAVE to pay more in January and I have no choice in the matter - apparantly. Ah Ah - I love Moorcroft. I just spoke with her for about 10 minutes more saying I was with Payplan and could not afford anymore and that they had a SOA and could see this - again I had to repeat this over and over - and she said she would send the details. A lovely conversation with them again. Nice people.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

You know.. I cant help myself.. You know when you do something you know you shouldnt, but you do for the 'exitement'.
Well you guessed it I called them....
I had the most obnoxious, rude creature who when I said I was bankrupt and had already sent a copy of the order stated
"Mr MSH which part of we have not recieved any information do you not understand,m you ran up this balance, now you have to deal with it"

Previous to BR I always got a name , a time and asked whether the call was recorded ( as most of these scum will tell you that "some " calls are recorded for training purposes!!!! They would have a field day dealing with my calls LOL).:rotfl:
If it was not being recorded I told them what my circumstances were and told them that unless the call was being recorded I would be hanging up.
Tell them that you feel you are being harassed and that you think they are breaking rules and guidelines laid down by OFT and banking code.
The other one I used to do was ask them to put any communication in writing. Then I handed all the letters over to money advice at CAB who dealt with everything.
They even got us apologies out of MBNA and another couple whose names escape me.:T1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

They are not trained to listen - just to read scripts. :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
