RE Sherlock Holmes, was good once I got my head around the fact its set in modern day. If you take it at face value it was really good, was even funny in places. looking forward to the next episode.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good morning everyone. Just reporting in. Where did that weekend go?

I've just had my bran flakes. I've got my salad, very low fat cottage cheese, fruit and shape yoghurt all packed up ready for work.
The Quorn sausages are out of the freezer for tonight's bangers mash and beans frenzy. Chuck in a bit of veg somewhere and I'm all set for the day!

I'll just give my halo a quick polish, ha ha!

Have a great day everyone, we can do it one pound at a time! (although half a pound is still a loss) :j

    Weighing in tomorrow night.

Hi gang, glad to see everyone doing ever so well.

Weigh i this morning, I have managed a further 1lb loss.
I am definately looking more "defined" in the waist area and Im sure my "eating everything in sight" and general binging was to do with the contraceptive crossover and eating bread 3 days on the trot.

I havent eaten bread for a week ( ish) now and I feel like I have not go "the demand" I had before.

    Yesterday did well as had
Pineapple, rasps & muller ( large amount lol)
Couple of cans of Diet coke
    Loads of water
Couples of teas & coffees with my HEA skim milk
Lunch was nandos with the peas and corn ( im calling that 3 as apparently theres butter in the Peas- im having the rice next time again lol)
Dinner was the chilli, sweet pot wedges, rice and Quark instead of SC ( all free) 2x taco shells ( 4 total)
Half a muller for pud but I wasnt hungry just wanted a sweet taste

So 7 for yesterday which I was pleased with. There isnt really any junk in the house now, so thats good.

I am thinking of doing a food order today as I need lots of heavy stuff and I cant carry a lot as I have a duff hand, looks like it sainsburys or ocado as Asda dont deliver here :(

Better get on with it to get a cheap slot!

Have a great day all ;)

Morning Ladies. I was away overnight on Friday and out all day Saturday. I was good at brekkie and lunch on Friday but had a naughtyish tea then bigger than normal brekkie in hotel on sat, naughty lunch and there was also some cake involved....was good and had a SW friendly tea when I got back though and fully back on plan yesterday. Tea is at OH's parents tonight, hopefully she won't sabbotage me with pie like last time!!! Here's the plan for the bits I'm in charge of...

    Brekkie - banana, pineapple, yogurt
Lunch - chicken and stuffing sandwich (HEB + 2 syns), tomatoes, cucumber, celery sticks, yogurt, mixed berries.
    Tea - Could be anything!!
    Snacks - plums, nectarines.

I'd like to get a walk in too, hopefully I'll have time before tea if OH helps me with my flylady duties when I get home from work!!!!

Lunch Some sort of salady affair with egg & maybe ham & yog&mint dressing

Tea Its going to have to be the smoked haddock (yack _pale_, wish I could get excited by fish meals.... but its out of the freezer since yesterday so......new potatoes peas and carrots with a little cheese sauce (gonna look up a low syn version)

My pmt seems to have left the building so Im hoping to be more on track lol :A and touch wood my tum has not been too bad with the food swallowing and pain for the last few days....im hoping the new tabs are working ;) so im going to try varying my diet a bit and including some different foods to see how I handle them.

Hello people, hope you are all well on this fine day :-)

I've finally decided to take the plunge and am starting at Slimming World on Thursday. I have no idea what to expect, I don't know anyone else who's going and I don't know if I can afford it but one thing I am sure of is that I'm massively overweight and I have 12 pairs of jeans that don't fit me anymore and I can't afford to buy new ones lol.

I'm 32 years old. I'm 5ft 2 tall and weigh 11st 7 (I think. My scales aren't that fab!) I was a size 8 this time last year but went on medication and all of a sudden I just couldn't stop stuffing my face. I'm looking at losing about 2 and a half stone, or whatever people suggest is my ideal weight. When I was younger I did WW and was told my ideal body weight was 8st 4. I have been that weight a few times and I look anorexic so I'm thinking 9st is probably more reasonable.

Advice, help and support is gratefully received. it's nice to be involved in a thread with no insults, no judging, and with people who really want to make themselves fit and healthier.

OH and I are getting married as soon as we can afford it. I have already bought my dress and like many people who get wed, I've bought one a bit too small for motivation purposes. If I lose 2 and a half stone it will be too big. I'm hoping I can have it altered as it truly is my dream gown.

Anyway, I've got housework to do, so I'll leave you to it. I'll get round to reading the whole thread soon but in the meantime, Good Luck and speak to you soon. xx
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Welcome Screamer and good luck with your weight loss, a wedding dress is the ultimate inspiration! Hopefully you will need to get it taken in before the big day :)

Well done mrs M and everyone else who has seen a loss.

dont have enough food in the house for a plan today - just going to see what I can cobble together and try to stick to Sw principals!

Your about the same as me I am 5 foot 1.

I am weighing in this morning at 8stone 13 but I definately have a bit more to lose, I dont know whether Im carrying a lot of extra water at the mo or what. I reckon another 2.5lbs and im there. But everyones different im only small boned so I carry it on my !!!! more than anywhere. ( trouser shopping hell)

I lost a 1lb last week easy enough, so in a few weeks I should be bang on and ready to maintain ( I have never maintained in my life so I hope SW as its not a diet, might be better.

I know I wont get much sympathy for this ( lol) but the size 10 dress I bought for wearing to my sisters wedding is now too big.Its a boob-tube style dress and the busty- bit is loose and falling down.

Gutted as I just cant afford to buy another one and Im def not a size 8 yet either :( sorrfy I know how stupid that sounds. I never thought Id have this dilemma put it that way :rotfl:

Never mind, Im sure worse things have happened. I guess I could just scoff out on loads of syns to make the dress fit again but that is dodgy ground!
