Ummmm, I wouldn't be so sure, I've tried a few and not been taken with any of them, still not everyone has the same taste as me.

Oh me neither, they just taste all wrong :o shame really as they are a quick filler :(

You know what I dont get. How come some processed stuff can be less than what youcanmake yourself, even if you dont use oil etc.

I amscouring the icelands offerings ( skint) and for example can see that thier chicken fillets in gravy are 0syns. But how can that be when normally you have to syn gravy??

    Does anyone get that?

I may be wrong, but is it gravy made with bisto/gravy granules etc that has to be synned, because it has flour or cornflour (coloured brown :D) in it? And obviously any gravy made "traditionally" by using the drippings and juice from a roast, because that would have fat in.

As far as I am aware if you make gravy using browned-off/caramelised onions with some stock and herbs that is free. If I add wine to the above delicious concoction I put a splosh out of my already measured and synned wine glass. Honest. ;)

Consultant would know better than me though.

I did try gravy granules once as people seemed to use them. To me, there was absolutely no taste at all. Luckily it was on special offer so I didn't feel bad about binning the rest of the pack :p
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I have never seen the thai one Mina, where do you get it from?

I can get them from Morrisons or Tesco Extra - not sure about Asda. The smaller Tescos don't do them.

    Hi,

Is it Ok if I join again? I did start SW last year and lost about a stone on EE. Couldn't believe it would work, but it did. However, as usual the fact that it was easy didn't stop me giving up and putting the weight back on!!! Anyway, I have been away for the weekend and did a lot of walking. Felt really unfit and sluggish and came home determined to do something about it. So I have been out and bought new set of scales, dug out my SW books and stocked up on free foods. I will start at home, but if I feel like I need more support will join local SW next week.

My start weight is 17st 7 1/2 lb.

    Jess

Hi all, had weigh in tonight and I lost 4 pound and got slimmer of the week so pleased! Just had a mugshot for first time tonight, can't say I liked it.
  • Well done Primmer!
Can anyone tell me how you win 'slimmer of the week'? It seems a bit haphazard who wins it at my group!
    Thanks

The rules seem to vary from groups. At my class it's the biggest weight loss that week but you also have had to have lost weight the week before.
