    Hi everyone.

Busy at work again today but I planned for it and called in at the co-op on the way in so

    B - banana
L - couscous with chicken and cherry toms, blueberries
D - chicken and pea risotto with HE cheese

    snacks - strawberries and grapes
drinks - tea and water today

I am missing a HE atm, and probably not having enough superfrees - but I have eaten lots of fruit.

Butternut squash makes a nice risotto but there is only me who likes it in our house.

ETA actually if I make this is a green day then my two small portions of chicken are HEs, and I can stop synning the milk for my tea and it all works out nicely!

Afternoon all, back from work and munching a late lunch, anyone got an idea how long prawns take to defrost? thought I might try and do some in a stirfry tonight for something different (found a bag of frozen stirfry veg lurking about, when Isorted out the freezer). Soy sauce is free isn't it?

Dizz, Is this cottage cheese from Asda?

Yes, I think it works out at about 1.5 syns for the tub but it is gorgeous. Just enough chilli to make it interesting! I can't stop eating it at the moment.

I have defrosted them quickly by putting in a waterproof bag like freezer bag and submerging them in cold water with a weight on top, normally takes about half an hour, other than that i think the only safe way to do (correct me if i'm wrong!!) it is in the fridge in a bowl but that would take ages

    Yup soy is free :D

I also defrost them quicker when I need to by submerging them in water ;)
