I sometimes help out with the weighing at my group and it always amazes me that some people that look quite....ahem....large actually don't weigh as much as you'd expect and vice versa some who look quite trim are actually a bit on the heavy side. I think it just proves that we are totally unique and what you 'weigh' is not the be all end all.

It's true, I'm only 4,11 and yet at over 11 stone I can easily fit into size 14 jeans. I'm around 11 stone 4 at the moment though if I get any bigger than that I start to struggle doing buttons up!

According to the BMI thingy I should be between 7 and 9 stone to be a healthy weight. I once lost over a stone in a week due to illness (I literally was nil by mouth) and ended up under 10 stone for the first time ever, my clothes were falling off me and I thought I looked too thin! that may be because I looked like death warmed up though!

I would like to get down to 10 stone then go from there. I really think if I got to 7 stone (never gonna happen) I would look terrible!

I've always wondered about this size v weight thing.

I've seen in mags etc.. women that are size 22/24 and weigh 15 stone... i was a size 24 but 20+ stone (when i started SW) Ok. I am 5"8 and these ladies were probably shorter than me but it always baffled me!! When i tell people my starting weight they are genuinely shocked and all say that i did not look as if i weighed that much.

My BMI says i should be between 8st 10 and 11st 10. My first big target is 12st 7lbs. As I think that i will look odd if i was less than that. I do have a naturally big frame and big healthy bones! Plus i would like to have a bit of muscle!!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

when I was 21 I got an under active thyroid and no matter what I did weight just dropped off me (fun at 1st I could eat sooooo much choccie & rubbish I was the envy of all my mates at 5 ft 3 and 9 st:D....It suited me, it wasnt what the "ideal weight charts" say.

My weight however continued to drop while I waited for surgery to remove part of the offending thyroid to slow him down a bit and you could see the changes in me and how gaunt and awful I looked even at 8 7 then 8 (which are both in my ideal weight bracket) I dropped to 6 13 before the surgery:eek:.....now thats NOT a good look:rotfl: then BOOOM back up to 10 stone in 2 month as they had to remove 95% of it in the finish up.

So whatever the height weight charts say I think its all rot. Ive been what ' I should be ' and my frame says I shouldnt ;)....Ive got hips, if I go too light I just look all wrong :D JUst go with what feels right for you because thats what were all doing this for :T:T

LOL, I usually do shop around, just that's how much they were at the farm shop.

I may also have got a few more than I thought. 600 grammes. Oops! lol
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)
