The nood;es are fine if you only put a quarter or less of the stock thing in to the water.

She'll eat them but I don't want her to have them

They're not bad, but mix in some veg, maybe a few peas, different soups for flavours, thin, then start to thicken the soup up, bit of fish or meat, and build a meal over the weeks.
If she eats it, only a small dish, maybe a couple of sponnfuls, she can have food she likes, even if it's plain noodles.

If I thought my children would turn their noses up at something, I'd always say - oh - I don't know if you'll like this - its very grown up"......9 times out of 10, they would eat it all up!

I know it is very hot at the moment - but have you tried her on home-made vegatable soup? It's surprising just how many veggies you can get into a child that won't eat them when presented on a plate - but just whiz them in a liquidiser then put them in a bowl - and oh boy - they go down well!

Try sweet potato & carrot - just chop a couple of sweet potatoes & carrots, sweat them in a little oil, then add water, simmer for about 20 mins, then put in a liquidiser - or whizz up with a stick blender, maybe add a dollop of yoghurt - or swirl it in the lovely red soup - give her a spoon and see how she gets on with that. You could chop a little chicken, add an onion, a potato and maybe a leek & some sweetcorn - again when its all whizzed up, she might enjoy it. Then as you get her used to different flavours, and away from the processed foods you could leave the soup more lumpy.

Again at breakfast - try a banana smoothie - yoghurt, banana, a little apple juice blended together - she'll be getting fruit again this way.

Have you tried eggy bread? Beat an egg, dip a slice of bread in it to soak up the egg, then fry in a little oil on both sides. Sprinkle with a little cinammon, cut it into fingers - was always a favourite of my g/d who went through a phase of living on fresh air.

Um, I think maybe just the noodles plain to begin with - maybe for the next year or three.

I do think she may have an aversion to 'chewy' food, as I said, one of mine was a bit the same but she will eat it now, just would prefer soft stuff.

You've come out with a few good ideas so far, I was just wondering if you had a history in dealing with 'fussy' kids? You seem quite clued up.

    We never go to McDonalds!

She's eaten the little chicken bites from Burger King though. She doesn't like burgers.

Just mine I'm afraid, but I deal with a lot of people of all ages otherwise.
