Spaghetti hoops aren't exactly a recommended food for very small children...they didn't come into my house until my youngest was at least five!0

I am off to bed now but just wanted to say to try not to get too disheartened. You are doing your best and that is all as parents we can do. You are also not alone in having a child with food issues. I remember a few years ago being part of a discussion on a different forum about very similar problems. Whilst some of the children referred to were just picky some had real issues. One mum had a child who would only eat red things or things in red wrappers.
Good luck for tomorrow and breakfast time.0 -

I'm hoping things will improve for the better, but I suppose, they couldn't get any worse.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Shame, it would have been a good starter to get her into different flavours and textures, but it sounds like it would be a fight instead, so maybe not.0 -
I took a look again at the things she does eat - a food diary is a good idea as Mikey72 suggested, it also gives you an overview - and though there is no fruit and veg the other stuff she's eating isn't that bad really, just monotonous.
Will she ever eat a morsel of food from your plate I wonder? Could try that in a pre-planned fashion. Does she still eat digestives? They have fibre in them I believe so that's a start!
WHat gravey does she have? Gravey is pretty salty which isn't great if she's not drinking much fliud especially. Would she eat a frozen smoothie ice cube sized lolly do you think?
Soup was the saving grace for my daughter. All vegetable but called after the colour ie green soup, red soup, golden soup. All pureed well and with cream for calories. I let them tear their bread and stick that in too.
Does she eat a sandwich at all? Can do all sorts with that.0 -

I would stand at the cooker making her pots of mashed 'stuff' that she wouldn't eat, it got a bit depressing after a while.
I went into the supermarket and bought one of everything I could afford. I bought cereals, jars of baby food, veg for making soup, I even went as far as fresh tuna steaks !!!!!!!
Over the next few days we tried her with a bit of this and that and the hoops were the only thing (alongside supernoodles) that she would eat.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

A few weeks ago I made a filling for a chicken pie in the slow cooker....
I told her to try some off my plate but she asked for her daddy's instead. He handed her the plate but she just looked at it and gave it back (she must have thought her chicken pie was different to ours!)Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

she liked strongly flavoured foods, would never eat anything bland.
We've tried her with different (mild-ish) curries and a mild chilli.

I would have to say the food list isn't good I'm afraid. But far better than nothing.
I'd try a small amount of bananas in the custard, or banana by itself. Slowly, and with custard to follow.
The other food I'd try is soup, maybe tomato.
The gravy is very salty for a 2 year old.
Digestives have a lot of sugar in them, and a fair amount of fat.
(Fig biscuit springs to mind, but a fruit one would be a start)
And the smoothie instead of ice cream is worth a try, but try a seedless fruit mix.0
