I wish I could say the same Rose! Maybe this time I'll make it. I think I set my standards too high and include all the 'Thingy son of do-dah' bits (:D) which does slow things down a bit in certain places! Also I get confused because of the bits where the same thing is told twice, because I'm never very good at who dun its: I forget which character did what so I'm all at sea with a cast of hundreds, many of whom seem to be similarly named.

I really want to get as far as Psalms and Proverbs which will be completely different. :) Also Nehemiah - he's one of my heros!

She's lovely Erme - not a job I would do but God seems to be using her. :)

Thanks for the links - I'll have an explore though it may not be done properly till later as I have a huge list of things I ought to be doing prior to friends arriving tomorrow- including overnight at work. :D

Well even if I were awake 24/7 and at home till guests arrive I doubt I could get everything done that I am thinking of so here's my list for now:

    4 errands in town:
    • shops
    • DD's money
    • clothes rack
    • plants
    • vouchers
    clean bathroom - started
    cobwebs!
    hoover
    lawn edges
    marks in lounge
    put clothes away
    pack work bag
    menu plan/cooking?
    laundry and more laundry

Hope you're feeling better soon. It would be a shame if you couldn't go away.

    Happy Ebaying!

I've done some of the jobs but I couldn't carry any more shopping after getting the bulky stuff so I will be going out again soon.

Not an MSE day, but Superdr*g had my favourite shampoo on a very good offer so I stocked up on that and a couple of shower gels, thus saving £11.88 (added to sig :) ).

Other than that I got a gift for DS1 for lending his room to our friends :), a new clothes rail for DD as hers is broken, a lampshade for the landing as the one there is totally disgusting and very hard to clean (bit of a bargain - £8 in Wilk0s instead of something like £14.99 in Arg0s), and a couple of towels for the guests as I noticed someone seems to have been mopping up tea with the usual guest towels. All a bit spendy and in addition we are going to be doing food spending outside the usual budget due to having guests. We have stayed in it so far this week though.

Now here I am off again to get the food shopping and tissues for DS2 who is full of cold.

Recently, i was stood against a wall, flush to the wall. Somone touched me on the shoulder. I turned round, so i know i felt physical contact. It was a spontaneous reaction. Of course, i knew no one could possibly be there, due to my close contact with the wall.

Hello Ani, welcome back. :) There is Earl Grey in the pot for you, and assorted biscuits in the tin - you will be pleased to know they are not ginger nuts but I don't know what's in there. Or I've made banana bread if you prefer? :)

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

That was a very strange thing happened to you Ani but I've heard of things like that happening before... 'tweren't me I do assure you, so I wonder who wanted your attention?

Loving that you have all those daffodils. Mine aren't doing too well this year - something has been eating the miniature ones, and the big ones don't seem to have many buds. I think they're getting overcrowded again.

Today in Miggyland... well I was asleep for the first half of it after which I ran round tidying and cleaning as we have guests this weekend. We managed the week so far with our usual food money but we're allowing ourselves extra to feed the guests.

I may not be around much for a few days, though I'll drop in to see how people are doing.

The younger of my two brothers wasn't a huggy sort of chap but he would give your shoulder a squeeze as he walked past.

After he died my Mum was stood at the sink washing up, on her own in the kitchen, and someone squeezed her shoulder.

I honestly believe these sort of things do happen and it is those that care about us but are now on the other side letting us know that they are there and they still care and think about us.

They seem to do it when we need it most.
