I meant to say... NSD. :)

    Hello Miggy,
Are you aware of the frugal sites offering discounts on meals etc? If not, let me know and I'll pm the few I use.
When is your trip to London?

enjoy your trip Miggy, i'm sure you'll have lots of fun, my trips to the big smoke are only problematic due to the need to visit the outlaws.

Tried to send a couple of PM's but you're all full now. Hopefully you at least got my first larger message?

Thanks so much! (And sorry about the full inbox - will sort it pronto). I will have a proper look later and see if we can get ourselves a nice meal or so - if I start browsing now I won't get things done that need to be done sooner rather than later. :)

No chance of an NSD today as I have just written myself a hundred pound cheque to open a new account - oh, wait. That doesn't count as spending, LOL. The bank's computer was playing up but the assistant we went to see thinks all is in order for our new account to open and therefore not only my £100 from self but also £100 from the bank (as a thank you for joining and possibly paying over the odds in O/D fees over the years to come :D) will be going in soon. Should be in by tomorrow but I can't check online till they send be a doobury through the post. Anyway whoopee to an extra £100! DH and I sorted out our differences when we discovered that only a couple of DDs have to transfer to the new account so we can keep our main banking as it is and just transfer a proportion.

Sorry for the scrambled account, I never was any good at boiling things down to digestible bites. :)

It won't be an NSD anyway as I need some bits for tea and some eye drops...

The new total won't appear in my signature till I see it on the screen.

moving bank account is a nerve wracking business isn't it. i need to get OH to move his and keep thinking maybe before we move should be a better time as we won't have to do the 'addresses in the last 3 years' bit.

Ooh, I could eat a doughnut right now - but you had better have it for me, my weight needs to go down not up!

Well done for getting your new volunteer job. :T:T:T I hope it goes well. Let me know! :)

Yes, I see how you mean! Though at least you won't have to debate with each other when you moved. ;)

I think the H@lifax offer is coming to an end in the next few days, don't know about S@ntander / 1st Direct and any others there may be.

I just checked the post but no confirmatory details on our new account yet - I suppose it was a bit premature! However the returns labels I requested on the Nxt order have just arrived so I can get that sent off and they will refund me, after which I can do the maths and work out if I can add anything to my savings signature.

Just a bit to add from the last couple of days: 1p road kill money :), £2.50 saved on shopping. Going to add to my sig right now before I forget as I've made so little progress with Mr B's challenge recently!
