Oh I will, you can be sure of that! ;)

Just waiting for them to send me the email that lets me join.

I was quite proud of myself yesterday because I sorted five food items that had been cluttering things up. There are many more to go and I need to work through, chuck where things are too old and find ways to use up. One of yesterday's was the remains of a tin of cocoa that had been bought for my Dad and I rescued it from Mum's kitchen. Dad died 5 years ago and Mum never uses cocoa but it was still fine to use, just a sad reminder of him. I have good memories, but it's the poignant moving on bit that twinges. Anyway that tin found a good home.

I also have a few tins that I collected last time I was at Mum's house. I bought her some treats from M&S in exchange. I think I could get those used up pretty quickly if I organised myself, then that's one less thing hanging over me. They are slightly out of date but not much and as they're tins they will be safe so I'm okay to use them.

Today's plan: get money out for the week's food and BUY HOT CHOCOLATE! I have been missing it for the last few days and noticed the milk is building up in the fridge! Pay Mum's cleaner, oops, meant to do that at the end of last week. :o Do laundry and more laundry - whoopee, we have sunshine and it's warmer again today! Press on with sorting in the kitchen - don't expect to hear I have it all sorted in the near future, maybe never as there's a lot in a small space, but it will be nicer by the day's end. Then do something or other with the dining room where the papers keep growing back, urgh.

    Slept better last night Miggy....:D

Had depot shot this am so wonder how long it will be before I'm in agony/can't walk for a day cos of it...

Giving up on the bike after last week - too much hassle to find the lights till I'm fitter. Going to walk to the supermarket tomorrow (and get another new bra...this current one is a little too big)...so big incentive to get to the supermarket tomorrow for new undies (DV for £1 again:) ....and must buy cous cous this week..it'll work out cheaper than sarnies from the corner shop in the long term...

Considering I walked 2/3 of the way home with a heavy rucksack (weighed a tonne!!!) from the supermarket last week and like I will have the granny trolley this week and stuff I reckon I should be fine. There's loads of good shops down there....like HB etc and Mr a and Mr al.... Yay...and a pound shop :) and D for wool :)

And plan to make palmiers tomorrow night. Don't know where the spare ones will go. Will take some to the drop in tomorrow and maybe pop some into the church office for the chaps....

You've got some useful shops over there, Erme!

Ouch to the shot... I hope it isn't too bad. Still it's a good reason to keep off the bike for a few more days. :)

Well, I'm not really away... well, I am, but I'm not. The comments earlier were because I've found a new website to get stuck into so that's taking up some of my time http://pinterest.com/ - might interest you as there are bound to be knitwear and crocheted things on there. :)

However DH and I are away for a few days soon: London and The Lion King! Can hardly wait, I've got roots in London as the years I spent there were special and Mum's a Londoner, and as for the show, I've wanted to see it for years and didn't think I'd get there.

MS-wise, I've wombled a whole 20p but I don't think I saved anything in yesterday's shopping. Mr B's challenge is getting the better of me. :(:D

No, not my birthday yet... unless there's cake. :D But thanks anyway. :)

The weekend away is because the kids are old enough to be left and seem to be at less risk of finishing each other off than they used to be, plus we can still afford it (may not be able to later as DH's job is vulnerable) and we really love London. Oh, and we both managed to get time off work at the same time.

We are doing the trip as frugally as we can!
