    I usually get two or three surveys a day from mysurvey, but I think I have only had one or two over the past two weeks. The supply seems to have dried up at the moment !

    I also think you should email them.
  • Sorry for dragging up an old thread. I've just had the "account does not conform to the general terms" email. Anyone ever get a reply about this? I don't know if it's because I work in retail, as some of the sites tend to be iffy about that.

    My application on survey websites says that I work in retail also, I've received over £150 from MySurvey with no problems, so I doubt it is that.

    Sorry I can't help more and help someone else can, just wanted to let you know it likely isn't the retail work that is causing the problem.

    What points are they shaving?! 575 = £5 Paypal, has done for ages?

  • I've had no surveys for a week or so, but i'm waiting on £10 of Amazon vouchers, so £15 for a month. I'm assuming i've just done too many. The vouchers cost a lot less points than they used to, so surely this is a good thing?
  • I have no idea what the problem is then. I only have one account with them (or had), answered all the questions accurately....no reply for "Emma Morrison" either as to why my account has been deleted and no response.

  • Did anyone get invited to this My Survey project?

    '''You are invited to participate in a study which leads to a 7 day Diary.

    This study will use a new way of gathering information through a combination of questionnaires, text messaging and an online diary. Please note: You will need a mobile phone to participate in this study. You will be awarded 500 MySurvey points after completion of this project.
    This award covers this recruitment study, the diary and a follow up study. You'll be awarded automatically as you complete the final survey.''
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I did on 21st Jan - so I completed the first survey, which involved giving my mobile phone number.
    I clicked the final 'submit' and it did not take me to the My Survey Home page, which worried me, as you will understand, as they do seem to get a lot of technical problems.
    but shortly after that I got a text message giving me the free number to text my responses to, which I did, faithfully, 2 or 3 or 4 times a day (when I noticed media ads on TV or e-mail etc - you had to use the number code system they supplied you with to reply).
    Then I had to complete the online Diary once day.
    Then, after about a week, a text message invited me to go to the online diary and complete the final bit and the final survey - which I did, and it accepted, (although, again, it did not take me to the My Survey web site)
    After I did the first survey I had been worried so I sent a message via the web site, and received this reply.
    "
    After further investigation, it appears your participation was not recorded by our server.
    I am sorry to inform you that if the survey was not completed, the data you provided cannot be used, and points are never provided in those cases"
    I sent a reply back to them
    "Hi - I think this is the 7 day text survey and I did fully complete it - and, infact, whoever received my responses must have thought so too as they have been sending me regular text messages (as it asked for mobile phone number), which I am replying to and supplying the research information daily, as well as updating the online diary connected with this survey, (which is EG54765 according to the e-mail invite you sent me after I did the survey, as I had taken it by clicking on the link which I found when visiting the My Survey web site).
    I realise, now, that points aren't awarded until after everything has been completed, but I really hope that you can collate everything with my completion of the initial survey as I am spending much time over all this, as I said, on a daily basis"
    ~~~~~~~~
    then, as I said above, completed the final survey later when invited to do so...
    and my 500 points were NOT awarded
    '
    automatically as you complete the final survey.' (as the e-mail invite claimed).

    I am getting really fed up of this now, as it was so time-consuming and I took a lot of care over it.
  • Well I got a reply back as to why I was rejected. Apparently I didn't pass one or more of their quality checks whatever that means. No more info than that as "MySurvey reserves itself a right not to disclose the details of the quality checking process, in order to keep the quality of our panel highest possible."

    Maybe I'm in the wrong area or are the wrong age or they randomly reject one person in every 100 and I'm the unlucky sod. Who knows?
