Mysurvey.com not paying out vouchers

Options
:mad:Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with mysurveys.com? They may also be known to you as Tns.

I joined and they were great. You did surveys, got the rewards Amazon vouchers etc with no fuss.

Then in May they switched to redeeming your points at an online shop. I redeemed 700 points for an Amazon voucher and it said I would get it within a week. A week later, no voucher, so I waited. In that time, I accumulated enough points to get another voucher. I got that one the same day.

Four weeks later without the voucher I was owed, I emailed Emma Morrison who you have to address all queries to. She ignored that email, and the next and the next and the next. Finally I got a generic response. ‘Wait six weeks and then contact us’ I was told in a generic email. The six weeks was nearly up and no voucher.

I emailed after 7 weeks and this time I got an email from Emma Morrison telling me that if I was querying a voucher I needed ‘update the subject line of your email to “Perks” and we will handle it accordingly.’ I did that and today got an email telling me that my NECTAR POINTS would be getting added soon. I didn’t email about Nectar points, as I don’t even have an account. I was told if it was a voucher I was asking about I had to put ‘online shop’ in my title header. Apparently, ‘missing Amazon voucher’ wasn’t enough.

I am at my wit’s end with this. Like most people on this forum I do surveys to try and get extra money. My partner was just diagnosed with bone cancer and cannot work, so we are struggling to pay the bills. It just seems that every time I query the missing voucher Emma Morrison would rather tell me to put another heading on my email than help me.

To top it all, the last survey I did for them on dog food was meant to take 55 points and when it was completed I would have almost had enough for another voucher. After an hour an error came up and kicked me off the survey. I have emailed Emma Morrison about this and yet again my email has been ignored.

The reason I am posting this as Mysurvey.com is mentioned on this site as a way of making some extra cash, but I think people need to be aware of how shabbily they treat panellists.

I have just logged in to MySurvey and have been informed that my account is inactive - I have no idea why, they never told me there was a problem!

I know that they have the 6 week lag problem with the vouchers where they appear to do a batch every 6 weeks. So if you apply towards the end of that cycle, the vouchers come quick. Apply at the start and you have to wait the full 6 weeks.

It also seems to be a similar problem with getting points added from Surveys. Some come quick or straight away, and I’ve noticed some take up to 6 weeks to be applied.

I had problems in the past with getting points added and hence I always keep track of what surveys I’ve completed, the date finished, what points I should be awarded and what vouchers I claimed. It has come useful in the past where vouchers have been late or points have gone ‘missing’. I know I completed the dog food one for 500 points towards the end of June and I’m still waiting for the points to be applied.

With me Randal, the full points for the dog food survey weren't applied. Instead of the 500 I got just five points despite spending 35 mins on the survey until it came out with some error right at the end and kicked me off. I then noticed that I got the same survey for a few of the other survey sites I am on, which makes me think there was some problem with it on My Survey that they couldn't be bothered to fix.

Here's an update on the dog food survey I did, which I spent 50 minutes on (it was meant to take 55 minutes to complete it all). An error came up right at the end and I was awarded just 5 points when it should have been 500 -

    Dear Panelist,

Thank you for your message. We are currently checking the completed list for survey 101813. Some panelists have notified us that they spent quite some time completing the survey but only received 5 points. I have sent a list of panelists to the project manager and we will correct the survey reward if appropriate. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Kind regards,
    Emma Morisson

It seems I am not the only one done out of points. This email came on Monday and I am still waiting to see the points in my account.
  • :mad:I am also still waiting on the Amazon voucher I should have got 2 months ago. My Survey are blaming Perks, but it happened when they had just switched over to the new supposedly more efficient shop! The transaction doesn't show up in Perks.

I don't have a reference no as I didn't get one, but it shows up on My Survey that I redeemed points on that day. It should be simple enough to check if I got a voucher, but no. Every time Emma Morrison emails its to ask me for something I have already given her like the details and the survey no for the 495 missing points.

did you not get an email titled "reward zone order" from OrderConfirmation@perks.com ?

actually there's an idea ... send an email to Perks.com using that email address and see if they can shed any light on your missing voucher. Explain that you were one of the first to claim vouchers when Perks was first launched on MySurvey (politeness would be the key here I think)
  • Is there any other way of contacting mysurvey.com rather than through the emma morrison link on site or reply to surveys? over 2000 points disappeared from my account at start of October, and since then I have emailed EIGHT times and sent a letter to query and ask for points reimbersed, and have received NO reponse whatsoever. One email was actually making a complaint about lack of response, and still no response. I think this is disgusting, we work for this company, spending vast amounts of time in completing these surveys, and are not yetting the reward promised, or as in my case it mysteriously vanishes from our account. Ignoring emails and correspondence is no way for them to be treating loyal people who complete these surveys. I am really angry about this (as well as still pointless!) and would like to make a complaint, but again have no where to direct it.. DOes anyone have any ideas? Was thinking of maybe writing to few maazines, name and shaming, maybe then they might feel compelled to respond (tho I doubt it!)

I got my last voucher from them at the end of September, no problem then. But now there are problems and I am looking for a better contact name/address too: they send me survey invitations, I log in and click on the survey, I get asked for my ID again, I then get told it was wrong.

I've emailed from the site twice and emailed "emma morrison" three times, I have not even had an automated reply.
