Have you emailed them?

CashGuru, everybody complaining here has emailed "them" using either or both of the known methods, 1, onsite link 2, emma@mysurvey.eu (=reply to survey invitation).

If you have a better email address for them. do share it.
• I've refused to do any further questionares for this company, I had a massive survey that took me 45minutes that should have topped me up with bonus points which never appeared, any emails to them were responded too with unhelpful replies...rubbish!

I have just logged in to MySurvey and have been informed that my account is inactive - I have no idea why, they never told me there was a problem!

Did they ever explain to you what the problem was?

As Martin advises with all the survey sites, I try to log in often and check my balance and activity. I have had two problems with 'my survey' so far:

1. I was a Lightspeed member but had not received surveys for a while; all of a sudden the survey invitations stopped. I tried to login and I found out about the merge with 'my survey', but they claimed that Lightspeed members could use the same login details. I tried and... nothing. I'd get a 'wrong username/password' message. I contacted this Emma Morrison person (assuming it is ONE real person and not a team under that name) forwarding to her my original Lightspeed confirmation email with all my account details. I received an email after a few days and she simply told me that my details could not be found in the system. She did not apologise for any points lost and she did not even offer to send me a new link to at least join MySurvey!

2. Anyway, after a Google search I managed to find a banner and joined the site. I though that they would offer PayPal rewards like in Lightspeed, but I realised it's only vouchers. Anyway, it's been about 15 days or so and I have already completed a couple of surveys. Today I had two invitations so I was excited. I clicked to log into the site and ... I could NOT access my account. There was only the message that my account is inactive and a link to send a message IF I had any questions  Of course I have damn questions: how the heck can they cut us off like that, without an email, and where are my f..$%@@!!! points  I just sent an email and awating a reply, but having read what is written here, I will not be holding my breath. Needless to say, that when I clicked on the direct survey links there was no problem accessing the surveys. That is DEVIOUS, because if I had completed the surveys, oblivious to my account problems, I would have wasted my time and points.

Like other people said, I do surveys because I need the money, not because I have nothing better to do. We work for these companies and are underpaid. The least they can do is to treat their members with respect and professionalism, or else there will be no people left to take their bloody surveys.

To this end, I think it is very important for anyone having bad experiences with these sites to report it here, so at least people can get honest opinions before they join and know what to expect if a problem appears. So, thanks to everyone who contributes to this site :T

Ive given up with mysurvey. Never known a more inefficient company in my life and cant put here what I think of Emma Morrison. Not at all surprised you cant get a straightforward
reply from her though.

They do offer paypal, but it's treated like a voucher and you have to choose it from the list of voucher suppliers.

Then, like the other vouchers, you can only redeem certain amounts, e.g. £3, £5, £10 etc.

I have the same problem.

I couldn't log in for a couple of months because I was abroad in a remote location and the internet connection couldn't handle their webpage. Now I've tried to log in and my account has gone - with ALL my points! They are ignoring all my emails. I've tried the emma@mysurvey address and the website contact form. I did the surveys and was awarded the points fair and square. I didn't deliberately not log in - I tried from abroad and couldn't. In previous years whilst abroad I've had no problems so why deactivate my account now? I was close to redeeming a large number of points and frankly am appalled. Why not email me to check if the account was still in use? Why now, not last year or the year before when I was away? and worst of all why not respond to ANY of my emails/queries.

I'm furious :(

I got a reply stating the following:

"Dear panel member,

Thank you for your message.

According to our database it seems that your account information does not conform to the general conditions of our panel. That’s why your account has been de-activated. We are sorry to inform you that it is impossible to reactivate it.

For more information about our general conditions, please read the FAQ of our site.

Kind regards,
Emma Morisson
Panel Manager
MySurvey UK"

What does this even mean?? My account profile was good enough to be accepted into the panel and work for it for at least 2-3 weeks! So, all of a sudden they decide it is not good enough and they close my account without an email explaining what the problem is and inviting me to correct it.

Their own Terms & Conditions state :

"Lightspeed may terminate your membership immediately by notifying you by email [...]"

They failed to do so; I got no notification whatsoever, so they did not act legally.

So, I believe that My Survey is an unprofessional site and a waste of money and time. If you still want to join, make sure that you read the latest Terms & Conditions. This is a tiny link found at the bottom of their page.
• I think I must be one of the lucky ones. My lightspeed and mysurvey combined perfectly and the points transferred over. I cashed in amazon e-vouchers and they arrived from perks within 5 minutes - fab!
