  • its not 5.1!!!

the system is a "con" type product made in china

it looks like an expensive 5.1 home cinema system BUT ITS NOT!

its just a dirt cheap stereo active speaker system

its worth a few quid down the car boot and thats it.

Amen. :T :D The speakers aren't very good and tbh I'd feel shortchanged if I'd paid more than £4 for them :rotfl:
  • After reordering last night and sticking to a different delivery address to the invoice one I actually got my speakers today. Quite surprised by that. Must have been my chat with their accounts yesterday. Lot of hassle but worth it in the end!

The sound quality is good but I found that the wires leading to the two surround sound speakers are too short The front speakers have ridiculously short wires too and it does look messy with 6 wires coming off the main sub woofer unit but hey it cost me £4 so ne'er mind

I tried placing them at the back of the room but the wires are way too short are they not supposed to go behind?

For a freebie the CD player is great. Comes with wall mounting brackets and a little rack, not bad sound at all.

One of the best freebies I've had.
Bet match total as of 04/10 = God Knows + About £1000 Quidco. Time for Mrs Huddsta to have a crack!!!

well I spent £45 & got nothing  I even received the offer by post as I have the catalogue infront of me.
    :j :j
  • I got both (separate orders). But I did not go down the '19p ruler' path, and instead ordered 2 quite nice pens (about 3-4 quid each).

The CD player is quite good for a study or kitchen, and the sound quality is actually quite good. Haven't tried the surround sound system, so can't comment. But since its free, I don't think I will complain.
