To Supersaversmith and Fizzystutter,

if i were you id put in another order because i originally tried to get the ruler and i didnt get my order because it was out of stock. Although the ruler is out of stock they dont send you any email to let you know that or put it on the website so if you dont get your order tomorrow you'll know why!

I got my surround sound system this morning :T despite no confirmation emails, nothing.

However the ruler wasn't in the box :mad: :wall:

And I appear to have £7.02 pending on my credit card which is about £3 more than it should be I actually did need a 30cm shatterproof ruler :rotfl: I'll phone them later and ask about it

just an update on my situation - I sent a very harsh email to sales@neat-ideas.com complaining that I had not received my speaker system etc. Received a call just now apologising for the mixup and that it will be sent out today and that I should receive the package tomorrow :beer: :j :T

i received my speaker system today, despite ordering it wednesday and being told it was next-day delievery. Still, it's come now and it cost me £3.40 for the glue stick plus delivery. oh and i ordered mine via the internet so that's a load of !!!!!!!! they have told you about only getting it via the phone.

i did put in the other code to get a cd player as well, but i thought that was pushing it abit...

oh, if it's any help - i got it delievered to my work address and made it look on the form like it was a business order (as it said they can refuse to deliver to personal for some reason).

anyways, i'll be trying it out tonight - and i'll report back tomorrow what the sound quality and stuff was like!

Just recieved mine this mornin plus the pencil leads that i ordered (which i really needed). I placed my order on friday mornin and what i noticed is that the first time that i entered the code it did not show up on the final page. So i cancelled this one and then tried again till i could see that the free speakers were on the final order page. Maybe this is what may have happened to other people that did not get theirs. They were delivered to my house and i just entered my company name as my initials. I have not tried them out yet but will let everone know wot der like when they do. Was looking forward to doin the same with the mp3 player but dat has a min spend of £39 so will just allow.

Thanks to ever1 on mse that helped me bag this bargin!

My speakers came today too. I ordered an A4 diary, which was a bit more than the ruler, but I needed it anyway. Thanks for the info.

Rang up today, spoke to someone who suggested that my card details were wrong. Rang again to ask 'ok then, did i do that twice as i'd placed TWO orders'? "There's no details of a second order here sir." (!!!!!!) They put me through to accounts who explained that as I'd put a different delivery address to my home address they didn't send the first order. I asked them why they had the option if this is the case. "Ah well cough cough fob fob"

so, to sum up.

No goods, no freebies, no confirmations, no contact, lies about wrong details on credit card, no sight of second order that only exists on my internet account.

Great way to run a company.

The sound quality is good but I found that the wires leading to the two surround sound speakers are too short :wall: The front speakers have ridiculously short wires too and it does look messy with 6 wires coming off the main sub woofer unit but hey it cost me £4 so ne'er mind

I tried placing them at the back of the room but the wires are way too short are they not supposed to go behind?
