Hi Fozzeh!
That's good you're having a nice day with the wee one - must more important than any money stuff!I could happily wolf down a take away right enough - I'm absolutely starving!
I don't really understand how Ciao works tbh - how do you actually make money on it? I've written 2 reviews today, both have been marked as helpful by people, but yet, if I go to rate someone else's review, it says "you have to write your own review and have it rated as helpful before you can rate anyone else's".
So frustrating! No doubt I haven't the fine print or something though - should maybe go do that now!

Just earnt £5 with Lightspeed for testing a breakfast cereal. More of those please!
Plan for tonight -
Parcel up everything I need to take to the post office tomorrow (involves ironing as I sold some clothes)
List every piece of household tat on ebay/Amazon
Go through all survey sites and make sure I've done every one available
Write at least 2 reviews on Ciao/Dooyoo, also read Fozzehs and rate some others to get my ratings up and make some real pennies
If I have time I'll also enter every comp I can on the comping boards in case I happen to get lucky and win the £10000 prize or the seat ibizaWell you never know....

Ciao can be a bit funny, i imagine its just a gremlin and the next time you log in or tomorow you will be able to rate reviews... i've heard of it doing that before and once it didn't let me rate anything it was a bit random! Your money will show on your balance after about 2am that's when it's updated whereas with dooyoo it's updated in real time! Confusing! With ciao you don't get much per review but if you get lots of reads then you may get more money with the premium fund- this is shared out once a month between members and the more reads you get, the more money you get!
lalli it sounds like you have a very busy evening ahead of you then!! You'll soon be raking it in!
Where are you selling clothes? I'm thinking of selling some baby clothes but I haven' had much luck on ebay...0 -
I would like to start making some money too by selling stuff not needed. But it is too tedious and slow. Incidentally I have found a new site where I got a fantastic new waistcoat and for free. They have other stuff as well. Maybe get the free stuff and flog it on. They are called sugarclothing. Best of luck0

I've been putting my clothes on ebay, but only listing really good quality high value stuff individually.
My sons tshirts/shorts/trousers etc I'll sell in 'outfits' so 2 Tshirts a pair of jeans and a jumper or something similar. I start them at 99 p and usually get £5 minimum. I know when I look for stuff on ebay if I see a couple of items I'll browse but I'll only search for individual items if I'm specifically looking for them.
My best sale so far has been an M&S suit we bought for him to wear to a wedding. We chucked in one his old school ties and a shirt he'd outgrown and almost made our money back, but that was the exception. The alternative is carboot the lot at 50p each, you'll make more than on ebay, but you will have to give up a morning and it is really weather dependant. Quite fun though if you're sociable but your little one might get a bit bored after a few hours, although if she's playing with her pretend shop as much as you say on Ciao you can probably get her taking money and giving change0 -
So today I've done some clicking, written 3 reviews for ciao, sold some more ebay stuff, entered some competitions and I'm just getting ready to go to work.
I've found myself a lot more focused this month, instead of coming home and settling in with a book I've been spending an hour or two each night at the computer listing sales for ebay or doing surveys and reviews and it's really starting to show.
For a start, the pile of 2,000 books I had in my living room is now reduced by several hundredand my bank balance is increased by same
so at least when I move my stuff will fit into a small van and not a massive horsebox!

Haha I'm just the same! I'm thinking that at least I'm decluttering and making a few pennies too! I have been spending a few hours a day just doing a bit of reviewing/listing... although I may have a return thing on the simns as it wasn't compatible with the girl's computer so looks like she'll have to have a return/refund so that means less money that i've actually earnt! how frustrating!0
-
Oh I hate it when that happens. Especially with computer games. People should check whether it's compatible first.
I've decided I shall review every tesco value product on ciao then move onto asda and sainsburys 'value' brands, I have a lot of experience of the lower end brands at the moment lol
I'm only earning about 1p a day for that though, is there any way of pushing that amount up or do I literally have to write 100 reviews to earn £1.
Also should I be commenting on random peoples reviews as well as rating them?0 -
You dont have to comment but it does help to get yourself seen so people are more likely to remember you name and then read your reviews. AT the minute you have a white dot next to your name so that users can see you are new. This means not many people will read your reviews as a lot of new members write rubbish. Once you turn into green you will get more reads/rates.
If you rate other reviews and get more reads yourself at the end of the month the premium fund will be more generous to you so even though it looks like you're only getting 1p a day it'l be then bumped up if you get a good premium award. You'll get more than 1p a day soon, also some products are worth more too. When you click on the name of the product, next to its title will be a pound sign. If there is £ then it's worth something like 1p but if it's ££ then it's worth 5p and £££ is worth 10p or SOMETHING don't quote me on the exact amounts. So it's worth looking to see what the product is worth. The FAQs probably explain it a bit better!0 -
oooh, today I received loads of freebies.
I'm saving these for my mums xmas present as she loves smellies of every sort so I've applied for everything I can see. I know xmas is a while off but I know mum will be happy with these and it saves me pennies in the long term.
Today I received 2 trial size shampoo and conditioners from supersavvyme 3 trial size things as requested from latestinbeauty (cost £1) and several sachets like you find in magazines. With these I also got loads of money off coupons which I know some people are selling on ebay. Not sure yet whether I want to sell my coupons or pass them on to mum (she's a pensioner) but either way I think I've done well.
How's everyone else doing? Fozzeh/Lorriellah? Geegee8? crapwithmoney.com?0
