Also, if he's bored it's also down to him to take the initiative too, doesn't all just fall down to you xxx

  • Thanks everyone, will try to talk to OH when I get home from work, only problem is he isn't a Feelings kind of guy, doesn't like to talk about love and how he feels...

I'll just let him know that it's been worrying me all day and that we need to talk about any problems...

Only problem is I still have another 2 and a half hours to dwell on it before I go home :o

  • Spoke to OH last night, of course he didn't mean it and he hadn't realised how much he had upset me...stupid thoughtless man! :p

Got a payout from TopCashBack today of £36.39 so put the odd £6.39 in my VSP and the £30 in to Target 1...haven't included this in the % challenge though as it isn't money from my wages.

Got 2 £2 coins last night too, well OH got one when he was at the football and I got one as change from my Zumba class :p

Think the pots are adding up nicely now :D

  • Hi Pennies
Just been catching up on your diary. Glad your mind is at rest with OH now. I'm the same with dwelling on things if I have to wait, I hate it, I can really wind myself up! My OH isn't a massive talk about your feelings guy, but after a few times of sitting down with him and talking to him about stuff I managed to get him to talk about that kind of thing, was really nice. Sometimes they just need some encouragement :p I think like some of the others have said, getting out together every so often and doing things on your own/with friends too helps, gives you something else to talk about.
Well done with all your challenges so far :T

I am glad to hear he didn't mean it at all! Men and thinking just should never be put in the same sentence ;)

  • Thanks guys! I'm so glad it's Friday, we have our belated Christmas night out tonight, really looking forward to it!

Meal at the local Mexican Restaurant and then on to the pubs, should be a cheap night too since there is now only 6 of us going (several people have had to drop out last minute) and we have £90 to come off the food bill and £88 drinks kitty :D

£6.04 transferred into VSP today, nice to see Target 3 slowly filling up without me really noticing it :)

  • Had a great night thanks Woo!

Went out with £30 and only spent £10, so the £20 left over went in to Target A and I'm now 12.8%/20% :D
