Hi guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately. Having a pretty rubbish time just now...going to give the full story as I think it might help to let it all out...
My Nana was taken in to hospital last Tuesday complaining of severe headaches and covered in bruises. They did blood tests, brain scans and full body scans on Tuesday and Wednesday and they came back clear so they thought she must have an infection of some sort.
They decided to do more blood tests on Friday and they came back showing that she was riddled with Leukemia (sp?) - now this is a kick in the teeth to us all as my Nana has successfully overcome breast cancer twice now...
The long and short of it is that she then went downhill drastically over the weekend and we lost her at lunch time on Monday
Just feel numb right now, it's so unfair:(:(:(:(

It's so horrible when people are taken suddenly like that, especially when they've beaten a battle once already.
