Thanks Woo! I have no doubt that I will reach Targets A, 1 and 2 however secretly I am hoping to completely smash Target 3!
Didn't want to aim too high though!

Hey Pennies, sorry for being so late in...this year is flying by already!
The savings targets are great and you are doing so well already :j. Holidays are great rewards for doing well, not been to Portugal but I've heard it's really nice
I might have missed the update but how is the job front for your OH?

OH's job seems steady for now, he got re-hired by his work at the beginning of December so things are looking ok
On the weight loss front, I meant to put that it is actually 31lbs I need to lose
But so far I am 3lbs/31lbsQuite happy with that for the first week, and I haven't really done much in the way of actual fitness, just walking the dog and eating healthy!

Need some advice ladies!
OH seems a bit down lately, 'jokingly' said to me last night that he is bored of me and that nothing is new and exciting anymore - we've been together 3 years so that's not suprising! Just to note that we are a jokey sort of couple and usually jokingly say things...
Trouble is now I keep wondering whether he really is bored of meand I don't want things to be boring...I think we're kind of stuck in a rut...
How do you lot manage to keep things fresh and interesting in a long term relationship? I think I'm worrying over small things but don't really want to be worrying at allVSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

We are a bit like this......part of me doesn't worry because a) I know he loves me really and b) he's male - he wouldn't leave cos it's easier to stay!!!! :rotfl:. Ok maybe that sounds a bit odd (but it's true).
Do you go out together? We found that because we have the flat it's too easy to just stay in and veg out. Going out for a drink/cinema/walks etc is great, it's like trying to go back to dating again. It is hard work because after 3 years you just fall into routine, do you both go out with your own friends and have seperate hobbies...that can help too!

Yeah he plays football several times a week and we both do fitness with our own friends rather than together.
We have unlimited cards for Cineworld but to be honest we haven't got the proper use out of them in the last 4/5 months.
I know that he loves me really and I went really quiet after he said it. He knew he'd hit a nerve and said that he didn't mean it, but it's seriously all I've thought about all dayI don't like it

Hi Pennies
Comments like that even said in jest do make you feel incredibly unsettled.
It's so hard to keep things fresh once you are comfortable with each other, I really do think the only way is to spend quality time together actually doing things (eating tea in front of the telly every night like I do with my OH doesn't count lol!).
I would have to talk to him about what he said properly and get him to put my mind at ease xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I was with someone for 6 years before my current OH and we defintely fell into a rut. think it's easy to do.
Try to plan say once a week or so that you do something together, doesn't have to cost money can just be walking the dog together or cooking a fancy meal together and have fun with it.
Think as well, especially if you're living together, it's a really good idea to go out and do things without each other too. It varies your routine so you feel happier but also means you have more things to talk about when you get back if that makes sense.
If your worried the absolute best thing you can do is talk to him about it. If there isn't a problem it will set your mind at rest and there if there is, it won't go away by ignoring it and it's best to sort it out together.
Hope you're ok xxxDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0
