  • Well we have two walls that are nice and smooth and then two and a slight recess bit (the doorway) that is woodchip, we've plasterboarded over the two big walls but there is no support for screwing in plasterboard over the top of the recess part so have to do it by hand :(

We love Jason Manford too, well actually most comedians when I think about it! Can't beat a good bit of comedy!

  • Christmas shopping for OH has officially started, just booked the Jason Manford tickets and they will be posted tomorrow!

Had to get the box office girl to send them to my work address as OH gets in before me and would see the post and would ruin it!

Feel better now that I've actually started, but I don't have any other ideas for him!

  • I haven't been on in a little while, oops, kind of got tied up in a few things! :o

Haven't been very good with the money saving lately...

We had a local holiday here on Monday and so I dragged OH to ikea, he wasn't impressed! But we did manage to get all of the furniture for the bedroom, which is now well under way. We did spend a lot, but we had the money put aside already so it wasn't too big a deal.

A couple more £2 coins over the weekend so we've got approx £192 in the sealed tin now.

Have got a weekend in Glasgow this weekend, we're going through to see the Scottish Wedding Fayre - this is for my sister to gather ideas for her big day, but there's no harm in me looking for ideas though eh?! :p Sunday is planned for shopping as our train home isn't until tea time, but I'm hoping not to spend too much.

Car tax is due at the end of the month too and really need to start thinking about Christmas! Plus it's my Mum's and Sister's birthdays before Christmas too...expensive times ahead I think! :o

  • Well we had a really good weekend in Glasgow. Lots of nice food and drink and plenty of walking so hopefully haven't put on too much weight! lol

Got 6 £2 coins between me and OH over the weekend so we must be over £200 in the sealed tin now! We are thinking of putting it towards a new TV for the bedroom.

Paid £25 off my loan today so my total is now £767 :) getting there slowly but surely!

I also got some really exciting news at the weekend...I'm going to be an Auntie :j:j:j My sister is due in May and is getting married in August so we have busy and exciting times ahead! I really can't wait, get to practice with her kids for when I have my own :p

  • Right, money talk!

I have been a bit lax on the loan front and have decided that I really want the loan paid by April. I did pledge this back in July but thought that I had loads of time and kind of fell off the wagon a bit :o

I got a payout of £10 from Top Cash Back so I put that against the loan, outstanding balance is now £757

I reached the threshold for a £10 paypal payout on Lightspeed, just waiting on that going in to my account and then it will be going against the loan - every little helps right?!

I have expenses due at the end of the month, sitting at roughly £45 at the moment but could be closer to £60 by the time it gets processed. This will go against the loan too.

I am really going to try and put any excess money against the loan. Based on the figures above (I will plan expenses money as £45, anything more is a bonus), before next payday my balance will be £702. I then have 5 paydays where £26 a month is deducted, leaving £572, then 5 debit payments of £25 leaving £447.

So, after all that in order to get the loan paid off before April, I have to find an extra £90 a month :eek::eek: I'm not sure if it's possible...:(

Wotcha Pennies! Sorry my love, it only seemed like yesterday I was here posting :o. Time moves so quickly in diary land!

Don't worry about falling off the wagon, most of us have done it at some point, I actually started my first diary last year but got side tracked and let it fizzle out! Now i am back with vengeance ;). Try not to push yourself too much or you end up frustrated and annoyed, just keep plugging away and you will soon see it coming down in no time! Don't forget you also have that awesome sealed pot balance :D

Congrats on your impending aunt-dom as well :T

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D
