Great news on the extra loan payment pennies! At least the loan is a lot interest rate and you still have 6 months till April, anything is possible in MSE-land :D

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

  • Well I think that the interest has started again, doesn't seem too much but whenever I log in to the Loan account the odd pence at the end seems to be changing daily, only by about 15p or so but it will soon mount up.

Best get a move on and get my but in gear!

    That's odd that it changes.

Think that would annoy me and I'd have to start paying at least 15p a day off of it! :)

  • Would be good if I could but the minimum payment is £5 and I can't afford that daily! If I could the debt would be paid in no time! :p

Dammit, they've got wise to us!

Hope they don't change that for loans etc, I enjoy sending them pennies way too much! :D

  • Yes it is a bit of pain! But I also quite like seeing my outstanding balance coming down in reasonably sized chunks too! :p

Just waiting on my £10 from Lightspeed to transfer from paypal into my bank and then that will be paid off the loan.

Really want to get a move on with it now, although I've left myself really short this month and it isn't pay day until a week on friday  Also got car tax due, guess that will be coming out of next month's pay...atleast next month is a short pay month.

  • I'm sub £750 on the loan :j:j:j

My £10 from lightspeed was transferred out of paypal and into my bank this morning, so it went off the loan before I could spend it! Only £747 left to pay...well it's actually £748.74 as the interest is going back on to it...maybe I should update my sig with the actual figure :o

OH is through in Glasgow for the next couple of days for his final electrician exam, he has been an apprentice for 4 years now and once he passes this he will be fully qualified (= a payrise! :j) only problem is that his work has hinted that he might be paid off :(

Good news on the loan payment! :T

Fingers crossed for OH's exam and hope things work out ok for him job-wise x

  • Thanks Beccie, he is quite confident about the exam but it isn't looking good for the job afterwards and because he is an apprentice it doesn't look like he would be entitled to anything for redundancy :(
